2.5k hours read on the prototype thread is crazy. Almost at the 1 year anniversary to what is probably the most significant event to happen in this hobby.
We all agree that The Unfindable Slowpoke saga was top tier highlight for collecting this year right? I think for me, it was the shining light in a year of absolute dross for scams, scandals and all sorts of tomfoolery. It was going back to a more pioneering time. It felt like the era of the whispered secrets of things like cosmos holo fossil cards, or pre-release raichu and other cards that either weren’t known if they existed or were simply rumors and whispers.
To me the journey was a romp. One day I even hope to obtain a copy, but the way in which the story went couldn’t have been more amazing. So shoutout to @slowqueen and @goonhoon for the best card hunting saga of 2025. This story will stay top tier for ages.

It was a peak life experience for me, to the point where my whole family knows about the intricacies of the 2021 Korean bookstore distribution programs. The card remains my personal grail and an awesome reminder of how kind people in this hobby can be (shout out @goonhoon@dylxxn and the Korean Ruliweb User B) & how small the world is.
I also don’t think I ever need to reach that high of a high in collecting again, I could barely sleep for two weeks straight while this was all unfolding
The collecting category will always be the best category for me on E4.
There have been just amazing additions and amazing showcases in the last year. It will probably be a shout-out to everyone but my top 3 are, with my favorite being
While the first one was a journey, the other 2 were sheer collecting prowess and dedication to species collection at the fullest. It was brilliant to witness first hand and also be a part of it via E4.
