July issue of "Popular Mechanics" magazine features Akabane prototype scandal

I know print journalism is pretty dead at this point, but the cover story for this month’s Popular Mechanics is about E4 and @pfm 's efforts to uncover the scandal!

It’s a good read and features a few other E4 members! I hear pfm will sign your copy if you encounter him :star_struck:

I was able to read it last night. It’s well written and the author did his homework.

is that the one with the girl next door actor

So if we get it signed by @pfm, do you think CGC will authenticate and grade it?

Those are some fabulous photos in there. That photographer did a great job, and I’m sure you had fun with that Scott! Photoshoots always be fun as hell.

It took like 2 hours! Of course most photos weren’t used. There’s once of me pointing at Akabane’s face in the silver Bible

I like how the spin is that we were all dooped. Dang, people.
We really don’t know our shit.

On a side note, I REALLY love the cover of that mag. I think I might one just for the graphic design there, but also the history of this moment. I love pieces of weird financial and collector history like this: NFTs, SBF, zimbabwe dollar hyper-inflation, prototype hype…
