You can find your first thread by going into your profile summary, clicking on “topics created” and then either scrolling or reverse sorting by activity date. Here’s mine which is now almost 5 years old! Thanks @zaishen for your help
If you use the little link chain from the first post of your thread, it’ll share a preview. If you copy the URL, you’ll just get the URL
Hello all!
First time poster. I’ve been buying large lots of modern cards to fill up sets and resell what I don’t need to buy some WOTC stuff. I wanted to see if anyone knew of a list of playable cards and/or trainers that I can keep an eye out for from certain sets that are worth more than general bulk. If this is too vague, please let me know! Thanks in advance for the help.

This thread I made a couple months ago, it died out fast, I don’t know how many people in here want to actually talk about the tcg TCG Live and Play Pokemon Battling

I hope you find one eventually! Fun fact, there’s a goodreads page for it. Maybe you can write a review looking for some help

I have not made many topics but this was my first one. Still a really great mini set if anyone is interested to collect them.
At the end of 2018, Pokemon had launched the Pokemon Card Friendly Shop Campaign (ポケモンカードフレンドリィショップキャンペーン).
[Poke_Mart_Avatar]
In the mainline Pokémon games, Friendly shop or Poké Mart (in English) is a place where the player can buy items for their Pokémon. These shops are found in just about every town and city in the games. The concept for this campaign was similar. In Japan, Pokémon Card Friendly Shop was a store specializing in Pokémon cards, Pokémon card-related products, merchandise a…

Apparently I’ve made 192 threads thus far.
And this one was my first (on Aug. 28th, 2016):
On Bulbapedia I currently read the following:
Can anyone confirm or dismiss this? Best way to confirm would be to have two of the same Chinese card next to each other with these grammatical differences visible, of course.

Quuador
Which was of course way before the first Simplified Chinese TCG cards were released..

Assuming they dont fold up the packs, this will open a brand new market for sealed collectors who cant afford boxes but still want something from each set. I myself have been stockpiling mint light packs in prep for this event. However what do you expect will happen; will box owners open boxes and grade lights creating a surge of heavies? Will PSA packs be burned in a mass fire? Will CGC never make a case and lose out on owning this entire market???
I was collecting packs at the time and thought CGC would innovate the pack slab before PSA did. I was wrong and also wrong that people would care about collecting packs

As the title asks, “What’s the most reused artwork in the hobby?”.
Before I start rambling, I want to say that this post is entirely my own personal opinions and is in no ways official. I am sure there will be disagreements on various criteria. If this post does not effectively answer “What constitutes a card’s uniqueness”, it will at least show the vast amount of cool tidbits of information regarding Pokémon card printing and its overall history. Here goes!
With Celebrations releasing soon, i…

Heres SMPrattes for you guys wondering:
I just saw this on eBay and laughed at the price but was happy that it is up. I figured we would see a very rare card close to christmas.

This was the other no 2 that mozz had back when he sold his. He had the 97 and 98, I remember this case he offered it to me for $3k but I was after the 97 only (and lost that one too)

It’s been a long time since I’ve been on a forum, but I stumbled upon this one and was interested enough to join. It is intriguing to see names like cbd1235 and professional_sports_authenticators here as I have bought cards from them on ebay in the past.
Anyway, I’ve been collecting Pokemon cards pretty much my whole life, but I haven’t made any serious purchases until about a year ago. Currently I’m trying to collect the entirety of the first edition base set, PSA graded at 9 (because 10 is a …

Mine was my collection thread. I haven’t created many others.
I thought it was about time that I started a collection thread. I keep all of my cards in folders so I apologise for the glare. About 95% of my collection is WOTC cards but I do collect a few odd Japanese promos which I think are unique.
I’ve been collecting since I was a child when the English cards first released but started collecting more seriously in 2011. It will take me a little while to get everything uploaded so I thought I would start with my favourite folder which contains all of my …

My first topic remains by far my most successful one lol. I’m glad these cards ended up being relatively available and that they didn’t run out during the actual events.
Pokémon just unveiled a campaign in the UK, France and Germany where you get a promo card at physical locations and can mail another one to a friend (you’ll get either Pikachu or Eevee and your friend the other one). I think it’s a really nice idea, but can unfortunately already hear the scalpers coming.

It might have been a question about searching outside ebay, but I think, knowing me and my obsession with my Arita collection at the time, it was my Arita thread.
I’ve been working on this for 20 years. Every unique Mitsuhiro Arita card illustration, and some other items. The binders are mostly chronologic. Starting from the very beginning of the TCG, and I’ve included every unique card illustrated by the great Arita, even the bad ones. It’s like a trip through the history of the TCG and my own collecting journey.
I love the consistency in his shading and texture, and his use of odd camera angles and focal lengths to capture motion and grandness in a sc…

Looking for a low grade PSA ‘please Trade’ holo back. I know smpratte has one up on eBay right now but here’s hoping someone has one in a low psa grade. I definitely don’t want to spend over 100 bucks. Let me know!

I still don’t know what sleeves will fit these damn things. At least the second generation comes with a sleeve.
Does anyone know a sleeve size that would work for the pictured Pro-Mold case that’s bigger than a “perfect fit”? I’m not comfortable with perfect fits and the other sleeves I have are too big.
There is a 2nd gen Pro-Mold case out that comes with a sleeve and those work perfectly, but I have a few of these earlier cases that I’d like to use as well.

I was wondering is it worth it to crack two expensive cards (over $5k combined) to get them autographed. I hate to take the chance and actually damage the cards (cracked a cheap card once, damaged the back) and I take the risk of getting them both downgraded when I would regrade them (both PSA 9). I can just get the PSA cases signed but would the cards be worth much more with the autograph on the case than without it. I’m getting both cards signed either way but what direction is better to take,…

Hi all
Just for kicks and a reference for anyone interested in collecting, I collated all the Japanese and English Pokémon set (and set-related promo) booster pack arts of the last 28 years into a gallery for both languages for easy scrolling. Enjoy!
If there’s anything missing from the lists, feel free to let me know - enjoy!
