I submitted 30 cards to PSA at the $22 rate in early October (est turnaround time was 120-150 days). They received my cards on 10/4 and everything was graded and assembled by 10/21 which was surprising to me. Since 10/21 my cards have been in the 'QA Check 1" step.
I know there is no set processing time for each step but the cards have been in this step for 18 days now and I’d assume that after grading/assembly they would want to get them out of the door.
Just curious if this is typical or if anyone else has experienced this?
This is typical. Orders will sit in QA1, QA2, and Shipping for multiple days. You will get them much faster than the promised 120-150 business days, but it may be some time yet. I would recommend checking this thread for relevant turnaround times.
Honestly it’s all over the place, sometimes QA1 finishes in 5 hours, other times it takes weeks. I wouldn’t put too much stock into each stage, they can all move incredibly fast or slow.
