I started collecting the new sets (2021, - ) and some promotional cards — basically everything my budget allows ![]()
Hi!!!
Im Dvng (pronounced Dang).
I was huge into Pokémon when i was a child but as i got older i didnt spend so much time with all the cards, shows, news etc. I still saw stuff and would look at Pokémon related items when i came across them. From toys to the cards. But didnt start collecting really hard again untill middle of 2020. But a short summary would be that i love Sunkern & Sunflora & collect anything involving both of those Pokémon. Im born and raised in the United States. I work in the oilfield, favorite color is yellow. ![]()
but hope everyone has a great day today!!!
Does anyone read these? >.>
I am chris, vintage card double swirl hunter, graded card cracker extraordinaire. currently building a higher end top loader binder, as well as a larvitar binder (bit obsessed), and thought id join as seems to be a lot of like-minded collectors here.

You are acknowledged
Welcome @Dvngyooo and @thechemist! Glad to have you both here!
@thechemist You’ve picked my favorite Larvitar card as your profile picture, so you’re off to a good start! Haha
Welcome @Dvngyooo I love that little flower! Welcome @thechemist ! I’m sure you may have found this thread. Just in case, for your viewing pleasure. Double Swirls
Of course we read first posts in the welcome thread! We are not all a bunch of grumpy Paul’s.
Welcome, Dvng! So, now I read your username as “Dang youuuu!” Dang! is also a brand that makes a really good butterscotch rootbeer… Anyway. Great to have you, and I think sunflora is an excellent creature design, so I’m glad to see someone who collects them. Underrated IMO. I hope you have a great time with the community here, and once again, welcome.
Hi Chris! We do indeed read this thread.
Double swirl hunter… Challenging. Very cool. And case cracker. You’re in good company! Cards are for binders.
That larvitar I call the “Big Mac larvitar” is also one of my favorites, and certainly my favorite McDonald’s promo because of the textures. Glad to have you here, and I hope you find the E Fourum a welcoming helpful place!
Binders for life!!!
Welcome!
Welcome @Dvngyooo ! You have excellent taste in Pokemon. Sunflora is one of my favourites as well. Enjoy your time on the forum. It’s great to have you here.
Welcome @thechemist ! It’s great to have you here.
Now you have my attention sir. We have a whole thread about that and would love to see you post there sometime Show Off Your Last Cracked Slab (binder)
Very warm welcome to both @Dvngyooo and @thechemist . Super awesome to have you join us here. Really looking forward to etting to know you and your collections a whole lot more. Enjoy your time here.
Cheers!
What’s up all?
My name is Brennan.
From the US but currently residing in Cádiz, Spain.
Married. Dad of two.
Got back into the hobby about a year and a half ago when my son got interested in collecting (finally).
I joined because I saw a lot of information on tracking your collections. We’re in the process of trying to master set Scarlet and Violet as an era and haven’t found a good tracking set, so I’m building a one stop shop for the SV Era in an excel workbook. Would love to know what the field is looking for in a tracker. Right now, I just have it set up for master sets but I can make some quick changes for expert setting.
Excited to be around some other fans. Not a whole lot of poke fans here in Spain.
Welcome @bsokowoski ! It’s fantastic that you get to collect with your children. That must be a fun experience. I hope you find the forum useful.
Omg it’s Hermit
Welcome, Brennan! I hope you find this community helpful and positive. I think we are very much so! Best of luck and fun in your collecting journey with your son.
Cheers!
Welcome @bsokowoski! I love that you collect with your kid and as a lover of spreadsheets, I’m excited to see what you come up with for your master sets!
Warm welcome to the forums @bsokowoski. Awesome to have you here. Really happy to know that you also got back because of your son. It is a great way to bond.
Just as reference, a fellow user has made and shared thier tracking tool. It is optimized for species collectors but I am certain some aspects can cross over to master sets. You can use it as reference.
Also, we have quite a few collectors from Spain on the forum. Hopefully you can connect with them and be a part of that community as well. Have a fun time on the forums.
Cheers!
Welcome to the forum @bsokowoski . I hope you enjoy your time here!
I should have it up and running around mid-day tomorrow with current market data for all of SV! If it works out, let me know what else you want to see. I’m doing some intro coding courses for my masters and could definitely use the extra practice!
