*Update 21July2015* PSA Returns, Japanese Gold Stars!

For the Japanese packs, the vendor has Fossil, Team Rocket, Neo 1, Neo 2, Gym Heroes and Gym Challenge in stock for sure. She actually has a few sealed boxes remaining as well. She may have more Neo 4 but is unsure as she has to check her stock. A local Japanese import game and hobby shop went of business a year and a half ago and she bought much of their remaining stock of Japanese Pokemon cards, so she is unsure what she has. She has some older unlimited edition English boosters of Team Rocket and Gym Heroes, and she might have some of those EX series blisters. I can check this upcoming Saturday to see whats available and I’ll hit you up with a DM.

Hey guys, its been a while since I’ve posted any additions to my collection. That’s not to say that I haven’t been working on it. I’ve made a few additions since my last update and I am currently waiting on a small package from Japan while also waiting on my middleman to receive a few auctions that I have won recently.

ALSO, I am pretty stoked right now because I am currently preparing my first PSA send off and should have it ready to be sent out next week on a 30 day turn around! I’m not sure what to expect, but because I have also decided to take on the challenge of obtaining PSA 10 Japanese Shinings and Gold Stars as a little side quest, I figured I should start off with grading what I have. Without further ado, he are some things I’ve got recently

The beginning of my PSA 10 Japanese Gold Stars. Currently tried to work out a couple deals with some friends, so hopefully those will go through. Also, I am pretty optimistic for a few of the ones I am sending in with my first PSA send off :blush:


I pulled this Japanese Shining Charizard from some Neo 4 booster packs I had picked up off of Instagram. I was quite ecstatic about this.

Here it is guys, here is what I have so far for my first PSA send off! Some cards still need to be placed into card savers, mostly the sealed promos that I am including in it.

First up are all of my Crystal cards, English and Japanese. I really don’t know what to expect, but to my eye, I wouldn’t guess anything less than 9 except on the unlimited edition Crobat, which has some slight silvering on the front. I am really hoping for 10s on the Charizards and the Japanese Celebi, fingers crossed! I also have a few more Japanese crystals coming in and will probably be sent in towards the end of the month.

Second, we have my English and Japanese Gold Star cards. These English gold stars are ones that I have pulled myself and so they’re pretty special to me.

Next, we have my Japanese Shinings. I would be extremely happy to have Mewtwo and one of my Charizards come back as a 10. I also have a Fan Club Shining Magikarp that might be included with this send off. We will see when I get it Monday and able to look it over.

All of my English secret rare Shiny Pokemon cards from the BW series. I’ll most likely resell all of these.

and lastly, a few miscellaneous Japanese cards and Japanese EX cards. Hoping at least one of each of my birds, Celebi and the Mew 007/PLAY gets a 10.

Well, that’s it for now guys, I’ll update my second send off as things start coming in during the next couple of weeks.

Holy crap, you have me drooling :tada: Impressive collection dude. I especially like the sealed 6 promos near the top. What type of promos are they? (The pikachu, celebi, pichu, etc)

Thanks! Those were Japan exclusives as part of the 2002 Pokemon Happy Adventure Rally. I’m particularly fond of this set too. They are each a piece of a bigger picture.

Ah I see. I found the Pikachu a while ago on eBay and I was very tempted to buy it (I’m a Pikachu lover). Where can I even find a set of these? eBay seems to lack a lot of items

Thanks! Yeah, this month would have been perfect if I was just just grading Base Set, but its okay, I’m happy with the 30 day turnaround $7 per a card price. It works out for me too since I possibly may be moving this summer at the earliest.

So I got a few things in from Japan today…

Pulls from the Japanese boosters I opened. Pretty happy about the E-series booster pulls, especially the Mew… the only thing that could have made them better would be a crystal pull. Love the older series pulls too especially since I am working on piecing together the Japanese sets up to the Gym Challenge (also with Neo 2, Neo 4 and E Series 5)


In my drunkeness, I decided to open one of the WCP boosters (note the crude/reckless ripping of the box) and I couldn’t believe I pulled this sexy beast.

Are your extras from WCP for trade/sale? I am missing like 5 cards from the set.

thanks! thats just from the shadow of a piece of plastic that was wrapped around the cards to keep them from shifting around in the box. Luckily it was on just tight enough to keep the cards from moving and not leave an impression on the cards.
