It’s a trend, Pokémon is taking their already strong household brand further by integrating mons into all aspects of life that we could be part of. The Netflix series Pokémon Concierge is the latest iteration of that
The Totodile matches expeditions Feraligatr so well! Lovely artwork, will see if I can get a copy for the binder.
Also, I would be most thankful if they continue releasing more slice-of-life/daily life cards so I can add more to my collection haha
when you get to illustrate a card but u only have ms paint on your computer
Kihara Misaki
An artist to look out for in the future for tcg. They have already done a concept card in the 2021 Illustration Magazine; and more recently, the front and back cover illustrations for the Pokémon novel “After the Rain With You” by Ayano Takeda

I always felt that way about the Masaki Golem, but I kinda like that one for the bizarre art. This one…no.
This reminds me of Detective Pikachu…
NBA Jam: He’s on fire!
The unown subset from unseen forces is really underrated imo. But that K is the most beautiful of all the unown from that set!

Absolutely stunning. Kanda’s best work yet!
Wow, that sharpedo is really gorgeous. I think as much as I like all of Kanda’s work, the Giratina is still very peak. That card made me actually check his other artworks out and is still my top1 from them.
Cheers!
I agree, really underrated. Hard to pick a favorite but the K is definitely one of them! The unearthly quality of the other letters really add to the allure, maybe those flowers are the crystal work of the Unown or some sort of dreamscape.
Lots of moons. This noctowl is top 3 for sure.
Also, this thread just went here:
Might be the first time I have seen a side profile of Sharpedo…I didn’t realise it had a completely flat, squared-off back lol. They could have given it a tail!
Exactly what I’ve always thought. It’s a half-completed design.
Isn’t it meant to represent a bullet? I know the name is like shark torpedo but the design is essentially a bullet hence the flat back with no tail
Think of him like a Bullet Bill.
