that palafin might be my favorite AR of the year. absolutely insane. I’m curious to learn about the artist. it looks like the art was painted, but i know you can do this digitally as well

Palafin looks absolutely menacing but also beautiful! I’d be intimidated if I were drowning and saw this staring at me like that lol like “yea I’m good I’ll just go deeper no trouble thanks”

Same. It looks like will be an ultracheap card as well to get many copies. I collect pink crows in games too.

I don’t like any of the SV era 'zards thus far. Nor the Teras in general. I just don’t like the glass/crystal look and the derpy hats, but I haven’t played the games for a while anyway so I’m not down with what any of it means. All I know is that it’s less chase cards in sets that I feel the need to buy which is a good thing with all that I have yet to pick up from older sets!

I’m already a broken record but why, why couldn’t this set have been the one with grimer and muk with opportunities of baby shinies and this beautiful reverse holo pattern, no one adores sneasel that much so could have replaced that line

Notes about the box opening
- From 10 packs, the pulls consisted of: 1 SSR, 2 S (baby shiny), 1 AR, 8 regular ex, 1 tera ex
- Normally in previous High Class Pack shiny sets there would be 1 SSR & 3 S, so it likely means that the AR substitutes one of the S slots
- SSR is the baseline guaranteed hit of the box; SAR, SR & UR cards are not guaranteed
- Whether AR is guaranteed remains to be seen until additional box openings
- Unlike English, the JP S borders are not textured or holo

I still think the regular SV is lazy and overdone, but I will say the artwork of the baby shinies looks more interesting this time around. The inclusion of the shiny AR/SARs made this set go from meh to must have. Genuinely very excited for this set now!
