I scrolled through the official set list on the indonesian pokemon portal, its there. Just a shame, i thought for a split second Shield Battle Mewtwo HR also release in Thai/Indonesian, but its the Shining Legends Version :slightly_frowning_face:

Up until now I haven’t seen the Zekrom HR in indonesian/thai, i guess i’ll have to dig into deep into the web this weekend again :ninja:

@primallugia Oops… Didn’t even notice it was the wrong Mewtwo… I edited my post to reflect that. I’m glad it’s weekend now.

I have been able to find a picture of the Indonesian Hyper Rare Zekrom GX (top left). So we now have confirmation that the regular and Hyper Rare Zekrom GX were released in Thai and Indonesian. (And the Extra Battle Day promos in Chinese.)

So it wouldn’t be too far’fetched (pun intended) that these Charizards might be available in Chinese/Thai/Indonesian in the future as well.

Thanks for the confirmation!!!

Yeah, who knows  Also, the Chinese sets go HARD. They caught up to our SwSh sets in 1 set! Insane how fast they go. They started later than Thai/Indonesia and ended up outpacing them!

How come Korea gets cool shit like Japan and the English company is just standing around with their dicks in their hands giving us shitty stamps on set cards?

Because Korea falls under TPC,not TPCi.

Whoops! I’m so used to seeing the HR Mewtwo going for 6 digits that I didn’t even notice that the specific poster I shared had a typo…
But yeah, the average buying price for it lately is around 270k~300k JPY, despite what that poster says.

Man that Charizard art looks awesome. Definitely going on the want list!

What V cards came from starter decks that didn’t have a full art version in English? Just curious for some examples. The Mew V was released only in japan as a starter deck but we’ll likely see the full art version as well before japan does in Darkness Ablaze

Spectacular. There is always the secondary market!

What’s your over / under on price? I’m thinking $5000+ ungraded.

Why do you think we will see a full art Mew V in Darkness Ablaze before Japan?

All V Starter Deck cards (Celebi V, Victini V etc…) that were released before, have no Full Art cards in English. Sword & Shield Base Set contained V Starter Deck Cards, and no Full Art cards before Japan.

Let me give you a better example:

Weavile GX, Umbreon & Darkrai / Espeon & Deoxys GX, Jirachi GX were also Starter Deck cards last year, they got their Full Art version only much later in SM12a Tag All Stars. We only have the two Tag Team GXes as Special Art promo’s so far, we still don’t have Full Art Jirachi GX and Weavile GX and we are still missing alot of SM12a Full Art cards.

Expect these kind of Japanese Starter Deck / Promo cards to get Full Art treatment in special concept pack sets like October reprint slot sets (1 gx card per pack guaranteed) similar to GX Ultra Shiny, SM4+ GX Battle Boost, SM12a Tag All Stars. The set for this year, could be the set after S4 Ashtonihsing Volt Tackle, S4a, the October slot.

tl;dr: There is little chance they will throw in a Full Art card in our sets, that hasn’t been released yet in Japan. And if it releases in Japan afterwards, high chance it will come as a promo card afterwards in English.

I am curious what they will do in our upcoming September Mini Set Sword & Shield 3.5. Little information is known about this set, but so far the release date doesn’t line up very good with the Japanese sets. It would have made more sense if it would release in October. If you want more information on why that set doesn’t line up, please let me know. Because I have lots to say about that aswell. I hope it all makes sense to you now.

It clears it up somewhat, have we ever gotten a VMAX card without the regular full art V version of it?

Meowth V and VMAX was released as a promo in Japan and as a V Box here in English. So far, no Full Art V Meowth. I expect a better rarity to come in Japan’s S4a October Reprint set like I mentioned before  Time will tell.

I mean Charizard vmax is the box and pack art of Darkness Ablaze right, so I would be very surprised if Zard V, Vmax, rainbow vmax and FA V are not included in the set. I could maybe see Charizard V Full Art not making it but would be very surprised if vmax didn’t. Every Vmax card in the regular sets have had a rainbow hyper rare version so far, I would be very surprised if they stopped that, especially only for charizard.

Just my thoughts but only time will tell. Potentially up to 4 Zard chase cards in the new set.

Pack arts don’t mean anything. Why ? Tell me where you see Full Art, Special Art and Hyper Rare versions of these two Tag Team GX cards in Unified Minds  Both originally GX Starter Deck cards from Japan (see my reply to Desi earlier today).

What I am trying to tell: The odds are very low for HR VMAX Charizard and Full Art Charizard V to come over here, and especially as a set release for Darkness Ablaze.

Keep your expectations low and be surprised if they will get a release outside of Asia, because it has never happened before all these years.

Like I mentioned before, all of these Shield Battle promo’s, Masked Royal, Zekrom and Mewtwo (The 1st place and Top 4 Promos) have never seen a release outside of Asia.

If you don’t own one of these cards when they come out, you shouldn’t call yourself a real collector

Stop feeding the babys!

Lol, so there are potentially only 600 real collectors in the near future, of which most are winning players from Japan who refuse to sell their prize?
