I am looking to create a comprehensive index of articles and guides that have been created here. Are there any you really like or refer to often?

I have referenced this quite often:

The work to put together this list is a collaborative effort by @chok , @minorkey , @chrisbalestra , @quuador , @pichufan , @thundermoo , @melchior , @funmonkey54 , @prochaos , and @djgigabyte among others. Special thanks to chok and minorkey, their work in this thread was the inspiration for this project.
The goal of this list is to create a resource that puts together all the information one would need about all of the rarest Pokemon cards & Pokemon TCG-…

I reference this one all the time.
Hello everyone,
Today I bring to you a list of every English Pokemon cameo. A Pokemon cameo is when a Pokemon other than the one named on the card shows up in the card’s art. I’ve been working on this for the past week every day after work and on the weekends - I hope you all enjoy it. I manually looked over every single card in every single set mentioned in this list. If there are any cards that I missed or cameos that I missed please feel free to PM me or add them in the comments. This is a c…

This has been very helpful at times!

After weeks of translating some of the Trainer Magazine scans that @prochaos uploaded, I’ve finally finished up a series of articles around the tournaments in the “Grand Party” Campaign
For some background, this campaign started with the Challenge Road '99 Summer, and went all the way through to Champion Road 2000. There are some remnants of its branding when the World Challenge Spring started in 2000, but it was phased out pretty quickly. This is perhaps the most comprehensive information avai…
Hi all,
A fun discovery that confirms the total number of 1999 Tropical Winds distributed.
For a long time, people thought that only 10 copies were given away at each of the 9 regional tournament. Some would hypothesize that because there were 2 age groups, the total number was 10 copies for each, for 180 total.
The source of that confusion is this page from Trainers Magazine Vol. 3:

For those of you who haven’t read the article , the Challenge Road '99 summer tournament was broken …
After quite some time and some major help from various members of the community (shoutouts to @augustdifirenze , @prochaos , @KEI , @Kampes_Cards , @linkdu83 , and many more who helped me gather materials), I am finally ready to call this article about the famous “University Magikarp” complete. The full article is linked below and includes full-resolution images and translations, but I’ve also included a summary of each month in the year-long(!) campaign:

I’m not sure a comprehensive index is valuable. Most of the time people know in their mind what they want to learn about and search for it
Cough… cough…

Hi all
Just for kicks and a reference for anyone interested in collecting, I collated all the Japanese and English Pokémon set (and set-related promo) booster pack arts of the last 28 years into a gallery for both languages for easy scrolling. Enjoy!
If there’s anything missing from the lists, feel free to let me know - enjoy!

Introduction
The purpose of this guide is to compile all the known data on English set card rarities. It is a project I have been working on for quite a while. The objective is to provide the best possible estimates for card rarities for all English sets that were released with randomized booster packs. There are plenty of resources on this topic around, but none which both span the whole history of the TCG and employ a consistent methodology. I plan to go through all the sets here one by one,…

This is a compilation of all the Japanese exclusive promos which hopefully will serve as a checklist or guide to anyone who wants to know / collect the exclusivity with Japanese promos. This gallery will feature the Numbered promos only. Will create another list for all Unnumbered promos.
Notes
This gallery looks at Japanese promos which are exclusive in comparison to English releases. My knowledge is not good with other language releases. So please let me know if this…
Heya! This idea came up in another thread and thought i’d do it for people who widely search with set names in japanese sites, hopefully it’ll make the search easier for some people. I went heavily with the order bulbapedia had but it had some illogicalities so hopefully the list is clear enough, for example I added the Japanese exclusive sets mainly in the bottom of their respective era. The subsets and minisets and their English counterparts were sometimes a bit difficult to categorise but I t…

Hello everyone. As the title says I am trying to identify every unique Japanese old ex card artwork. In elaboration, I am trying to find all of the ex Ruby&Sapphire era ex card artworks that were not printed in English. So far I have identified 11 12 of these cards and I come to you to see if there are any that I am missing. Please let me know in the comments if I am missing any and I will add them to the list. Thank you
Here is a list of the cards that I have found so far:

Pretty niche, but I love this thread so much.
The Black Flame Ninetales

For those that are seeing this for the first time it’s an Unlimited Base Set Ninetales (12/102) but the flame around Ninetales is black instead of purple. (See side by side comparison below)

After searching ebay for a few month’s checking every Ninetales card listed i managed to find one on a BIN and scooped it up, Having it in hand i was now determined to find out some more information about it starting with evidence of it …

Introduction
Lately I’ve seen quite a few threads regarding Thin vs Thick, Grey vs Black, and similar threads pop up. They gave me a great amount of information, but it’s currently spread between all those threads. So, I decided to combine them all into this article, to give one overview of all the variations, as well as their (theoretical) origin.
This will of course mainly focus on the Base Set, since it has a lot of 1st edition variations, but will also cover 1st edition print runs of other…
And not in the Articles section, but it’s just as helpful and informative:

Please let me know if you find any errors and I’ll edit the list!
The POP series and various errors or promos need to be added, but these are the ones that matter right now. Enjoy!
Many of you may already know about the serial code found on the bottom left corner of cards printed in the old ex era. I’m in the process of documenting them all (huge shout ou…

The ones I reference pretty often are already mentioned before:
One other I reference occasionally is the Topps Collecting Guide .
The imgur-link with variations in TOPPS Pokemon Trading Card - Complete Collector Guide - Production Timeline - Commodity Code and an overview of all Topps cards in general in Complete Pokemon Topps Gallery , are also both very useful.
Greetz,

I want to do something similar but structure it differently. More logical groupings, stricter on which articles qualify, etc
It also might go from a thread to a full section/page on the site

I am very protective about preserving threads that have significance to the forum and its history (and also to me). It’s been around for 7 years and updated many times. Many of the threads listed here are already there.
I was going to protest but Trader said he doesn’t mind, so I’m not going to. Though I do wish you could just edit the index that already exists (especially with his blessing, which you have) and remove certain threads that are dead or don’t meet your said qualifications. But maybe that’s just me.
As you know, I was inspired by that thread and wanted to mirror it with the collection index. It was plainly the impetus, and I loved the idea of uniformity. That’s the main reason I said something. But since he’s fine with whatever, I’m fine.
