I do love the full arts so much, but for the regular ex’s I wish they would make them Like the old school ex pokemon cards Or like the UR of black and white. I miss those plain shiny silvery boarders man with the awesome artwork that stays in the Rectangle, and the beautiful holo patterns. No way I would ever want them to get rid of there FULL ARTS though… God that would suck. So excited for dem full arts and UR when they come out.
Project Leader: “Hey guys, we are doing a Shiny Gyarados themed set so we are gonna need a Gyarados EX, and an M-Gyarados EX.”
Team Leader: “Oh sweet, Gyarados is one of the most popular Pokemon, and it being Shiny we will have so much to work with”
----2 weeks later----
Project Leader: “What have you guys come up with for the Gyarados/M-Gyarados EX designs?”
Team Leader: “Well, I want to show you the M-Gyarados EX design first. We have gone above and beyond with this one, what we have done is place M-Gyarados is this really awesome and aggressive pose, AND THEN WE HAVE COVERED UP 3/4 OF THE ARTWORK WITH EFFECTS AND WORDS”
I just wish they’d have enlish writing on english cards and japanese on japanese cards. The only card that are worth
collecting are the FA. Those are the only cards where you get a full appreciation for the pokemon.
In my quest to collect all the Mega EXs recently, I noticed that when the Japanese Mega cards were available as both a RR and a UR, the UR was not only different in that they had a gold border/text, but the attack name was in Japanese as well. But for English secret rares? JAPANESE TEXT AGAIN. -facepalm-
… This is actually a large part of why I decided to collect English for FAs, but Japanese for non-FAs.
Well the translations would be right there and done in every language already considering it’s just the name of the attack… and I’m sure that the text on the art just requires minimal amounts of effort on Photoshop to edit for them. -sigh-
The silver lining in all of this? At least there’s no typos on this guy:
