Hope you don’t mind me asking but how much did Roseanne’s Research set you back? I was under the impression Akihabara card stores were kinda expensive but if that’s not the case I gotta check them out next time I’m there.

It was ¥14.8k. Akihabara card stores are indeed expensive, you can find better deals on mercari 99% of the time - however, I really enjoy exploring the area and buying a few cards here and there as souvenirs (at least this is how I justify it to myself 
).

Ok I just noticed the background of these cards is the Pokemon Center. Great pickup!
picked up some pre-order promos for a decent price and got a FamilyMart employee to sell me a sealed booster box for the price of the packs ($35)!

This is a buyee 20% off purchase and I’m extremely excited to receive it. I wanted to but this card for a year and noticed it was coming down a lot from its peak of around $800. With the coupon on buyee, I paid around $375.
Now I’m just missing the Machamp and Golem in PSA 9, but I’m not in a rush to buy them.

Wow I never knew there were sales above 1k. I just remember they are were pretty cheap, then they exploded to a higher price range.
I remember Gengar in a 9 was over 2k at one point and then I paid around $1350 by waiting a year. I figured that Alakazam would also come down in price.
Overall it’s been a crazy few years lol. I’m glad the market is feeling closer to normal.

The real question for me is if this card will have the masaki marks. I took a gamble since the cert number was covered (I hate when that happens), and thankfully this was recently graded.
Either way for the price I paid, I can’t complain.
