Congrats! XY Base is so hard to find anything with good quality. I am forever on the search for 10 candidates of the holo/reverse for Greninja. All copies are ass, still 0 graded 10s for the reverse. 9 is the best I have been able to find for the holo as well.

Is there a reason? Low print? Bad quality? No one looked after their cards in this era?
I find it baffling it took me to my last 4 of 150+ mint cards to get such a nothing card.
Terrible print quality. Everything has 1 or more damaged corners. “Pack Fresh” = Mint… right?

Echoing Typhlosion, terrible quality is the culprit. I have no idea why they were cutting all the cards with a butter knife, but clearly they did.
Arguably the biggest hits in the set are the Venusaur/Blastoise EX full arts, and even those have crazy low pop for 10s. 22 for Venusaur out of 513 graded, and only 18 Blastoise 10s out of 590 graded.
