Happy to have checked off one small collection sub-goal! While Team Magma Vs Team Aqua is…quite far from my favourite set, both the Absol and Jirachi secret rares are among some of my most desired cards. I’m a huge fan of e-reader cards and both of these are significant in my eyes due to being the final two English set cards that used the e-reader card layout. They are also some of Mitsuhiro Arita’s most stunning Pokemon artwork and finding the 10s for both was quite an achievement!

I went to my first card show today and bought all these. It was cool seeing all the vendors and the huge variety of cards. Lots of Sports, but a really good amount of Pokemon. I got the Venonat error for $1. The texture on XY full arts is super nice in person. Cool experience

Just looked it up. It’s odd. Guy could have just auctioned and it would have likely sold for $100 more.
the next one did auction for $130 more. I think they just recently graded it and wanted the quick cash
