Another Pokémon VS card for the collection! Particularly love this one, have great memories when I first faced Yasmines steelix, the combat display was huge and it was really intimidating!

I think this set is an all-timer. I have a binder collection on the backburner while I focus on some other stuff, but I look forward to completing it. I adore these cards.

Just picked this 2009 Pichu Illustration contest card up. I just love the history behind illustration contest cards, and especially ones like these that have cameos of other Pokémon in them.

Local card store error find. This just leaves the no holo dark dragonite and Ill have found all of the major wotc errors locally. The new england card stores must have had error heavy inventory.

“locally” I found this one in Long island NY on a trip for the 4th of July, the no damage ninetales in RI (I live in MA). I used to live in NY and that is when I found the red dot blastoise and no stage blastoise. I don’t exactly remember where I found the rest. It also probably has something to do with the stupid amount of time and stores I have been visiting weekly for years though
Decided to finally end my years of lurking because one of my latest purchases has me stumped. So, uh, hello.
I recently purchased a couple of copies of the machamp alt art from buyee, and one of them completely lacks texture. I’d normally write this off as a fake, but the quality of the card stock, image, and shine are identical to my textured machamp:
I know that legitimate textureless cards aren’t unheard of, and it would definitely be the highest quality fake I’ve ever seen. Thoughts? Sorry the photos aren’t the best, still getting used to a new phone.

I only buy once in a while, but this week I bought the USA version Tyranitar tin.
Thinking about building a Tyranitar display and that should be next to the EU one.

How could I forget to add in Flareon, Jolteon, and Vaporeon… This Vaporeon is in my top 10 for favorite artworks in the hobby!

i always found the implication that garchomp can apparently fly (and very well at that) to be weird, but this card is sick as hell. always trust fukuda to bring the heat lol

it apparently can fly as fast as a fighter jet yet it can’t learn fly in the video games
