I couldn’t resist when I saw this pop up. When it arrives, I have both a BGS quad-10 (pop-1) and CGC quad-10 (pop-2) of my favorite artwork. I did already have a CGC 9.5/10/10/10, but meant to upgrade it to a quad-10 whenever one would get graded and available for sale.

Mate as a WOTC promo collector (mainly psa10) I’d love to add a black label or cgc perfect to my collection. Congratulations and if you see another pop up please let me know. There is a few mew 8 and team rockets Meowth in cgc perfect 10 but I’m yet to see them for sale.

Saw the Poliwhirl in a thread on here ages ago and finally ticked it off the list. Really dig the sort of ‘aged’ border style on the hgss cards.

That aged border is the best the TCG cards have ever looked…

I never saw the HGSS borders as aged, always saw them as a silver and gold mix.
Still I agree, HGSS cards are pretty cool

At the risk of posting yet another pic to the recent buy thread and not my (non-existent) collection thread, I grabbed this last weekend locally. Officially motivating me to do the base set in 8.5 (all my others do have subs, this one was a decent deal due to the sublessness so I had to do it). Front is super nice which is really all an 8.5 collector can ask for. This is a big grail for me and I am very excited to have it. The hunt for the whole set has been very fun. I also just got the email from BGS today saying my zapdos, mewtwo and magneton hit 8.5!

Ill still make a collection thread someday. I have 2 separate albums on IG where I post progress towards my 2 main collection goals regularly since it is a million times easier to upload and edit pics on IG opposed to here: Base 1st thin stamp BGS 8.5 holo set, and all ereader holos expedition to TMTA

A slightly odd one but just picked up three insert cards. The ones that came with Lucky Stadium 41 and Pokémon Center 40 WOTC black star promos. I love them so much, big ol’ nostalgia hit.
