@foodin065 Definitely one of the highlight holos from aquapolis. Sometimes I see people rag on aquapolis saying theres only a few good holos and dont include this one, it baffles me.
Managed to purchase a complete Neo Revelation 1st Edition Set (Shining Magikarp & Gyarados are Unlimited)
I was pretty shocked on examining the cards as every single one turned out to be pack fresh, not a single scratch on any of them though almost all have small print lines and the odd white dot (likely PSA 9s with some 8s). Either way, dont expect finds like this to pop up too often!

Such a gorgeous set. Cards arriving in better condition than anticipated is one of the best feelings in the hobby. Big congrats!

Went “junk slab” shopping for some 1st Edition Base and got this sweet Pikachu at a killer price. I usually try and go for 9s and 10s but I’m pretty happy to pick up 1st Edition Base at almost any price even over a raw copy:

Have always admired this card and kept running into raw cards priced far above “near mint” PSA standards that were not infact near mint.
Tracked one down for the right price! Might crack it or maybe just leave it in the case for display on my desk. Patience pays off!

For sure. I was sort of going for PSA 6-7 copies thinking of building a raw binder set but I might just keep them all in slabs instead for added protection. It was an awesome deal considering I got it for half what most raw NM copies were selling for and it’s already authenticated by PSA so no worry of a fake.

Was able to get another celebrations etb from gamestop. Hoping I can get the Umbreon, but there are still a lot of cards i needa get…
