I’m not necessarily collecting cards because they are CGC graded, but more because cards in great condition were available at a great price point. I do find it laughable that they can’t center the grade number and label. It is extra hilarious on a perfect 10
125 usd for the two cards, 75 usd for shipping + import (+“handling”) fee. Still kinda worth it. Wanted an Imakuni’s Doduo since forever and you can never have too many sealed GB Dragonites, right?
For sure. If I had to name my favorite eBay seller, they would be the first to come to mind. I haven’t bought from them in a pretty long time, but when I started buying cards from Japan in 2016 they were already around. Still have two of those origami Pikachu somewhere. They usually also add a small personal message card; some additional free cards; sometimes their business card where you see a happy couple in Pokémon costume in the sun; and they’ll send eBay messages most of the time. The cards are also in great quality, unless otherwise specified in the auctions. I’m glad to see they’re still in business, although it’s not too surprising with the current Pokémon market, haha.
I was thinking about getting that same Worlds promo the other day. Kinda crazy to me, that it’s from 2004 is from Worlds and under a grand. I know there is no stamp but still, underrated imo. But great pick up bro!
Not cards, but I got these locally with a set of the gold-plated Burger King cards for $80. I don’t collect vintage merchandise but thought this was too cool to pass up!
