Finally picked up a Victory Medal. Not looking to collect them all, but had to get a 1st place one to add to my promo/prize collection. Beautiful card and artwork. Love that the holo pattern is only on the medal itself.

Part 2 of 3! Finally found a cd blastoise for the price I wanted to pay, so very happy about that. As a side note, now that I have the 2 of them together, Dark blastoise looks an awful lot like a remake of cd blastoise…

Been getting into the 3 birds (Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres) recently. I have the base set holos coming, along with a few other releases of them. I want to build a nice size collection of these guys from a bunch of different sets. I think it’d look pretty sweet to have a few binder pages dedicated to them

Purchased this recently at a local vintage toy store for $5. Incredible deal in my opinion considering the regular price was $5.95. I remember having this particular magazine and looking at all the cards available at the time. It’s funny looking through it now, because back then as a kid I didn’t even understand the concept of a set. I just thought every pack was a random chance at any Pokemon card.
I am loving the visual set list this provides as I continue to collect binder sets of Base, Jungle and Fossil.
Also, it’s like a little time capsule. It’s interesting to see what was discussed, like the “Protect your Pokemon Plush Beanies” on the last page.

This week’s Japanese haul (still waiting for a base set Zapdos & Dark Blastoise to come in the mail)
Also what arrived today was an almost complete uncommon/common set of pack fresh 1st Edition Team Rocket cards I managed to get for £31. All uncommons present, just missing a few commons! Was really surprised to see they were all NM+
