Bought out a Japanese store’s supply of T17. Four of them here and 6 more of them are on their way, all in mint condition

This is SO sick… So this thing doesn’t take any sort of ink to print out labels? That’s amazing!!! I definitely need to invest in one of these!

Where did you pick up these two at? And what’s the use of the Scale? I’m just curious… I mean besides the obvious reasons of weighing your packaging for shipping… But do you use it for anything card related?

Super awesome pickup though man! Congrats! I’m jealous.

So I recently found a local store that sells the new Darkness ABlaze Build & Battle sets. So I bought 3 of them, and all I got… was this… I’m rather disappointed after spending $100… But that’s that… I guess you gotta test the waters before you jump in right… So I figured why not start off with 3 of these and see how they go, and than buy more later on ya know… (= But anyways! These are my two highlights!

And look at the last 2. They were my Special finds/ pick ups.

It uses thermal printing, which is basically what store receipts use as well.
As for weighing stuff: it’s just for weighing packages for shipping but my fiancée is trying to steal it to use in the kitchen instead.

Yessss thermal label printers are so bloody good, I dropped £140 on a 2nd hand Zebra 420d before lock-down when my ebay selling got more serious, and it’s a little workhorse. (Kinda annoying as you can get the Zebras much cheaper in the States, but w/e no RuGraTz). Also have you got yourself a royal mail size guide for large and small letters? Only a few quid on Amazon and it’s another thing I couldn’t do without now, especially for selling multiple singles and boosters.

Agreed they are great pieces of kit, The Zebra one i have is 9 years old (& looks it too) and still going strong. Can’t imagine how much money saved on ink.

Recent purchase of mine is this GB promo Meowth, nothing expensive but has a ton of nostalgia with it as it was originally included with the Pokemon Trading Card Game for Gameboy Color. I highly recommend anyone who has this or can get there hands on it to boot the game up and enjoy the nostalgia :sunglasses:

@pikachutcg, How was that game. I really don’t remember ever remembering if I had/ played that game or not. I know I played Pokemon Red/ Blue, Yellow. And the Pokemon Pinball with the little 3AAA battery on top with the rubble to it. Was an absolute BLAST. I still have mine, and it still works like the day I bought it. I cannot get enough of it. It’s so awesome.

Oh and awe… @pikachutcg you should let me Mod/ retro mod that Gameboy color of yours over there for ya (; be the best thing you ever purchased for gaming I can promise you that, as far as nostalgic goes (=

I would give you a 10 variable brightness screen, and it has 10x’s the pixel density per pixel. So basically you’re talking about getting a 4k TV basically… in the palms of your hands. It’s absolutely AMAZING.

And just in case you need a little inspiration… here’s my GBA SP that I modded with a Glow-in-the-Dark shell, and buttons. So fully Glow-in-the-Dark. It also has the IPS screen mod that I soldered in the extra 10 variable brightness levels as well.

This is so cool! About how much does it cost to make that mod?

EDIT: oops, never mind. Link appears to be malfunctioning for me

Love the SP mods, not so much a fan of the GBC (for the actual tech experience upgrades, the endless colour customization though is beautiful and dangerous if you get carried away wanting every combination haha!)

On another note, you saw how quick the Analogue Pocket sold out on presale the other day? I missed it by a few minutes… what’s your take on it as a modder?

I have around 24 of the Mew boxes, and various others - still in shock why it’s cheap (only one brief reprint regarding the Red and Blue Charizard box, but please take a look (and even comment) on this thread:

Only 4 more base set holos to go! Hitmonchan, Nidoking, Mewtwo, and Venusaur. The Mew popped up for a price I couldn’t beat, so I had to snag it. Also received a stack of around 100 CoroCoro promos, with about 75 being gradable (PSA 8-10 quality). Grabbed the mint GB Lugia as well!

Giovanni Boss Pikachu and a Guzma Boss Pikachu arrived a while ago. The Guzma was sealed in cellophane but had a back scratch and a edge chip which was disappointing but just recently found another from a seller in France on ebay, just waiting for it get shipped out.

Got a couple of Legendary Heartbeat Booster boxes coming at some point hopefully next week and a Full art of Red and Blue from All Stars.

So here are my takes on the Analogue Pocket. Do I think it’s a cool device… ABSOLUTELY! But would I ever consider buying one myself. No… And here’s why. I already have everything I need/ will ever need in my Gameboy/ my Nintendo Ds/ my Nintendo Switch. Plus at a Price marker of over $200 + $100 for the TV mounting dock. That’s quite a hefty price point for me for something that I’d probably only use a handful of times… But I do think it’s a very cool idea.

Hands down one of the most beautiful cards ever made. I absolutely LOVE Nidoking, and throw it into a Crystal version and you’ve just got pure joy here. This is such a gorgeous card. I am very jealous to say the least. And congrats to your sir, this is one amazing pickup.
