nothing crazy at all, just finishing up an evolutions master set and then I’ll be getting the couple cards I still need from celebrations, finishing off the character rares in japanese, and finishing my komiya binder. After all that I want to get every komiya art from vending series in psa 9 or 10, ooyama pikachu in at least a psa 8, and masaki machamp in psa 8
This set will be such an accomplishment when you complete it! The Lv.X Master Set is gorgeous. Two of my favorites are the Leafeon Lv.X and Glaceon Lv.X from D&P Majestic Dawn. Definitely underrated.
I have trouble focusing on one goal at a time…but my two main goals at least are a VS PSA 9 master set and a PSA 9 EX Legend Maker reverse holo + ex holo/gold star master set.
For VS I am a little over half way so far, with half being slabbed and half raw. Legend Maker has been a more recent endeavor. This one will be trickier, but I am excited for this set.
My main collection is all holo’s from Japanese “wotc” era in PSA 9.
The thread with all the CHR/CSR cards really has me wanting to start a complete set of them, the prices are very reasonable!
Im not sure underrated is the right word for the lv x eeveelution rookies. Those things sell for more than vintage 10s in many cases. Overrated would be more accurate probably
Currently my main goal is to collect all 25th Anniversary languages of Charizard, Venusaur, Blastoise, Umbreon, Pikachu Birthday, and Magikarp by the end of the year. I could expand the goal to the whole set. First of all, I await the release of the pre-orders of the 25th golden boxes, hoping that the prices of the 25th promos will go down.
Still hunting for a Victory Orb as a Raw Copy. I missed out on a very good offer lately so the hunt continues

More Southern Islands! Can’t stop, won’t stop>
Once I complete the first two, I will need to think of something. If you have cool ideas, let me know
And they should be more expensive in my opinion. The Leafeon Lv.X is far more difficult to obtain than a Flareon from Jungle when you consider the rarity of the pull and the suspected print run of each set. A Majestic Dawn Lv.X was roughly 1:36 packs, and there were 4 Lv.X to pull (Garchomp, Glaceon, Leafeon, and Porygon-Z). So on average, it might take you 4 booster boxes to get 1 Leafeon Lv.X. Then you better pray that it was printed well enough to get that PSA 9 or PSA 10 grade, which is extremely difficult given the amount of (scratchable) holo surface on the card.
TL;DR: I am not shocked that a Leafeon Lv.X from Majestic Dawn is as expensive (or more expensive) as an eeveelution PSA 10 from Jungle.
Finding a Japanese 1st Edition Professor Elm’s Training Method from the Feraligatr ex Constructed deck. Not many out there.
Then have to find a Ghost stamp Professor program one, not looking to buy the PSA 10 one @smpratte has listed
Im pretty sure those 2 cards are among the top 5 chase cards for the entire DP era so imo they can hardly be called undervalued
I completely forgot I had that card listed!
Yah I have it on my watch list lol
After hunting for months for a raw Munch Pikachu in NM condition (I guess these mostly got kicked around the floors of people’s cars for 3 years?) I think I’m going to bite the bullet on a 9.5 one.
Are there normally “steals” (anything under 1k would be a steal to me) on PWCC or elsewhere?
Im always working on my WOTC era binder. (Insert generalized cursing at how hard e-series is to find.)
Think my concurrent goal will be starting a tag-team/alt art binder. I think I’ll sort them by type. Only ones I might stay away from are the rainbow rare variants. Just feel like I cant appreciate the art when its all glossed out.
Heh, I have way to much goals for my pokédex collection but the most important one would be to complete my top 3 wanted cards wich are my holy grail charmeleon, the Japanese crystal Crobat and the 1st edit fossil Hitmonlee with ink error. Not the cheapest cards but they really are of key importance in my pokédex. But yeh, adding to some of my side collections and upgrading my pokédex will always be my goal. It’s simple but not easy.
Working on unlimited Japanese D/P-Plat shinies! Have the full set in 1st edition. I’m half way there for unlimited. Finding Relicanth and Yanma have been the hardest to find in mint condition. Got lucky and won PSA 8 Milotic recently. Beat Frontier (Supreme Victors Japanese equivalent) seems to be the hardest of the sets that include these shinies to find in unlimited.
First priority is completing every Scyther in the rarest form of every unique artwork in PSA 9. I have 7 left with all 7 off at PSA right now, one of which is stuck in the black hole of 2020 Ludkins orders. Realistically, I could accomplish the goal by beginning of next year depending on the Ludkins situation and what my grades come back as.
After that I will work on putting my attention at building back my Charizard collection which I liquidated when the market went parabolic. At one time I had every single unique artwork in my binder collection.
Along the way I hope to get all the Bagon unique artworks in PSA 9.
Well … I have many collecting goals I’m working on right now.
- e-Cards (USA/JP)
- Spanish Vintage Expansions
** Base Set
** Jungle
** Fossil
** Neo Genesis
** Ruby & Sapphire
** Unseen Forces - Pokémon Battle-e Cards (USA/JP/AU)
- Spanish Wizards Black Star Promos
- Master Collection: Green’s Exploration
- Unnumbered Promos (1996-2005)
- P Promotional cards (Except the 008/P and the Lottery ones)
In a very long time:
- J Promotional cards
- T Promotional cards
- Random cards
I’d like to work collecting Historical Magazines related to TCG and also Pokémon Web cards, but that’d be for future
Realized, I’ve been an idiot not to do a Komiya and Kusajima binder before now, (gonna try putting the two together…) so I’m starting on the ‘hard pieces’ from that.
