I’ve started this thread a few years in a row now, and yes I realise we are only mid november. But what are your goals for 2024?
I’ll start:
Acquire the last 3 psa 10 salamence cards I’m hunting:
Ex dragon frontiers salamence ex psa 10 in english and 1st edition japanese
Ex deoxys salamence ex english psa 10
As far as cards for pc, thats it.
I might collect some sealed goods from throughout the years but I’m planning on cutting back a lot on collecting next year.
Instead, I want to start buying and selling cards with the aim to fund future collection buys with profit instead of my own money. I will probably keep some of the cards I grade during this process too.
I think getting the english salamences I need is realistic but the 1st edition jp card is all about luck really. It’s been a long hunt.
Anyway, thats my goals for next year, interested to hear everyone else’s too. Cheers
I have 9 cards left for my scope of Japanese promos, but they are doozies. I would love to get two cards on this list next year. Any two. I don’t care which.
My goals related to Pokémon TCG collecting for next year haven’t changed …

To sum up, I’ll continue with e-Cards, Pokémon magazines & other objectives …
Not related to Pokémon TCG I have some new goals such as meeting Latin American Voice Actors in events held in my country and collecting Club Penguin Card Jitsu cards …
I personally don’t have any collection goals for next year. I have been really happy with where I am at with my collection. There a ton of cards that would be cool to own but nothing really of “I must have that”. Will still spend more than I should on cards but with no aim it gives me more freedom of what to buy.
I liquidated a lot of my higher end collection to complete one of my longtime goals. This year is all about rebuilding… I’d like to reacquire:
-Shadowless Charizard
-Crystal Ho-oh
-Gold Star Rayquaza

Jan 2023 Goals:
-Add 5 key sealed N64 titles [2/5]
-Add 20 new sealed N64 titles [2/20]
-gen 1-3 Pokémon 8.5 / 85 or better [8/9]
-start a proper Call of Duty collection
-maintain the worlds best shrek collection
March 2023 update (3months) :
-Add 5 key sealed N64 titles [3/5]
-Add 20 new sealed N64 titles [4/20]
-gen 1-3 Pokémon 8.5 / 85 or better [8/9]
-start a proper Call of Duty collection
-maintain the worlds best shrek collection
April 2023 update (4months)
-Add 5 key sealed N64 titles [4/5]
-Add 20 new sealed N64 titles [8/20]
-gen 1-3 Pokémon 8.5 / 85 or better [8/9]

October 2023 update (10months)
-Own 15 sealed key N64 titles [14/33]
-Own 60 sealed N64 titles [70/312]
-Gen 1-3+(N64) Poké 9.6/90 or better [8/16]
-Maintain the worlds best shrek collection
2024 Goals :
-Own 20 sealed key N64 titles [14/33]
-Own 100 sealed N64 titles [70/312]
-Gen 1-3 Pokémon 9.6/90 or better [7/11]
-Gen 1 Poké (all vari*) 9.2/85 or better [5/11]
-N64 Pokémon 9.2/85 or better [1/5]
-Maintain the worlds best shrek collection
I did however take a big step this year and finally created a spreadsheet to track my collection and what I still need to buy. So I’ll probably keep chipping away at that. Completing my WOTC sets.
