BGS Likely swapping labels is a massive blow to my collection goals. I have basically set a minimum number goal that I hope to achieve by November (That just contains 3 more cards so pretty do-able) but after that my goals will be changing to include more sealed ex boxes if possible. The 1st ed base BGS 8.5 is much easier since I can buy pre graded so I am not too worried about that

Anyone who says all 5ban sucks has not seen gen 5 full arts, they work so well imo!

They had some nice cards over the years. The issue people have with 5ban is they get a ton of flat V and VMAX cards. So your “ultra rare” pull is only worth $1 or so, and it looks like the same card as the rest of them.

What have you noticed for different holo patterns on the different languages for celebrations classic cards? I recall seeing one of the languages having a different holo pattern.

Collect in PSA 10 (or 9 if a 10 is unattainable) every Shiny Pokémon on the TCG (English version to start with) including all variants (reverse holo and holo - if applicable). I completed the Hidden Fates shiny set recently, I am currently working on the Steam Siege shinies (I know I said Steam Siege - sorry! ) I have a long way to go but hey that’s the beauty of collecting right?!

I’m kinda taking a card break and have been focusing on sealed video games recently. I’m still keeping an eye out for good deals on cards but it doesn’t feel like a priority right now

I’ve started collecting the B&W secret rare shiny cards in psa 8/9 and it’s been very fun so far. They are rare enough that they pop up about once a month which fits my budget pretty well. Some seem pretty rare though and almost never pop up, which is interesting.

B&W is my favourite gen both in terms of games and Pokemon design, so it’s a perfect fit for me!

Japanese Neo Revelation. Have completed Base, Jungle, Fossil and Rocket and am just missing two afordable cards from the first two Neo sets I plan to pick up as singles soon. Neo Revelation is challenging because of the two shining Pokémon, though I have some shinies from Neo Destiny I could trade away for them.
