I’m trying to finish off additional sets of vending series and thought I’d ask if anyone else is doing the same. If so, is there a card in particular you’re struggling to get hold of?
For me, kingler seems harder to get for a decent price…

My next goal is to collect all Mimikyu TCG cards in PSA/BGS 10.
I have some with both their English and Japanese counterparts, but the goal is all cards with Mimikyu on them (whether its name is on the card or not) in English as well as all Japanese exclusive Mimikyu cards, too.
I’m about 80% there.

It was not a goal per se, but I started collecting more and more mew cards, and now I’m on my way to collecting every mew card out there. Victory orb here I come…

My current goal and focus is my graded Greninja master set in English and Japanese. Just sent off 48 ungraded ones to PSA, and have almost all the rest already graded.
Only missing 4 left, all of which I assume I will never get. I am missing all 3 Unlimited Greninjas in XY9, Rage of the Broken Heavens. The holo, Break, and SR Gyarados EX that Greninja makes a cameo on. As well as my holy grail the TV Tokyo Lottery 218/XY-P Ash-Greninja EX. I am sure I will never get my hands on that one, only 100 cards of it exist.
So now its a waiting game of what I have off for grading, getting those back should be enough to put me at the top of the Greninja PSA Registry too.

I have had decent luck finding unlimited Rage of the Broken Heavens recently. I got my Espeon EX half art and full art, and a Drapion w/ Espeon cameo all this year. I check Mercari and Yahoo Japan auction daily and randomly find them pop up. Good luck!
I check there occationally, but its nice to hear that they can be found. I was starting to think it was just a myth, it seems so rare.
Not necessarily the immediate next, but I will always be gaga over the Fun Club Eevee

My current big grail collection at this time is to get one of each of the Shining Cards. I lucked out growing up and I pulled Magikarp, Kabutops and Charizard. I’ve since picked up Gyarados and the entire Shining Legends set. Now I just need to finish Neo Destiny.

Just when I think I am done with a collection, I find something that I have missed. I have collected every Mewtwo card printed, then yesterday I found out about a Costco exclusive card from the Unbroken Bonds era. The Pokemon TCG is wild, that’s why I find it so important to catalog as much as possible and spread what you learn. You never know what you may have missed!

Once my PSA submission has return, I will be missing just 1 card to complete my crystal set… problem is Charizard itself so has to wait a bit. I’m considering buying a raw Japanese card , as they seem cheaper and I actually like the extra holo pattern japanese crystal cards has ( Charizard is actually the art I like less of all the crystal cards)

I agree, I love the flat illustration and the colours used for the holo. Really stands out as a special card.

My next goal is the fan club magikarp, but that’s looking a bit tough with the rise in price and the difficulty in selling certain cards. Hopefully I can get her done!

I actually am getting one too for a binder, and the price memory kills me. A long time ago the fan karp was essentially forgotten, and the price wasn’t comparable to the eevee or Porygon. I need to get some procedure done to erase the price memory so I can just snap buy the cards I need.

My goal from a similar thread a few years back still stands and that is one 1st Edition Base PSA 10 holo per year (maybe 2-3 years for the bigger ones 
)

My next goal of my collecting journey is Japanese Ultra Shiny GX Master Set.
I got info the hobby around Jan 2021 and started off with Japanese since no one wasn’t really look at them to the scope that they are now, and I fell in love them after opening few boxes. I already got a few Japanese master sets and I think it would be a good time to go after some of the card. I know the Zard, Cynthia SR, Sylveon, and Umbreon are up there in price. I might just go after them first just to get them out the way.

Currently have a couple goals set in place such as getting every black & white fa in English psa 9 or 10 alongside shiny secret rares in Japanese. I also like to pick up some Japanese alt arts here and there with the odd lv.x.
