What are your 2024 collection goals?

• Altaria cards in different languages.
• Any missing cards of Altaria such as: Awakening Psychic King M Altaria EX, Altaria EX RR/SR and Altaria’s Spirit Link in Unlimited Edition.
• Reverse holo’s of Altaria 1st and Unl. ed. from EX Battle Boost.
• Up to date with any card designed by Taira Akitsu.

Simple and hopefully I’ll be able to achieve it this year.

Looking back on what I set here and seeing what I managed:

• Pre-Sun & Moon master set completion - only Worlds 2004 Staff left completed
• Sun & Moon master set completion - 399 to go 89 to go

• Sell collection

I’d like to finish Gym Challange unlimited. Just need the Sabrina holo. I’d also like to grab the rest of the non-holo Southern Island cards I need.

Slowly been shrinking / refocusing my goals, but at the moment it is to collect all old back Japanese Marill cards in PSA 10. I am on track to finish in 2024 if all goes to plan.

Took me a long time to realise old back cards are my favourites!

It might sound silly, but I want to acquire a base set charizard. I never had one as a kid.

Not silly at all! That was my first graded card purchase, and probably the same for many members here!

I actually got lucky and found a pretty decent copy of a base set 2 charizard for $80 recently. I definitely had to snag it!

• Finishing pending languages of TCG for 100% Metapod collection (sitting right now in 100% ENG, JP, SP and Dutch (2 cards xd))
• Getting the Pokemon Wonder Metapod postcard
• Find a fossil background of 1996 Club Bandai Sticker of Metapod nad foil versions.
• Start the commision cards of Metapod with community artists!

My goal is to have almost 99,9% of all official Metapod products by the end of 2024, so in 2025 I can start full comic apperances of Metapod in all languages (no actual deadline for this, maybe 5 years?).

• Catalogue all my collection and submit it to my website.

• And finishing batt-memo sealed collection.

Goals: balance collecting with being a new Dad lol

Also finish the following 1st ed holo sets in PSA 9 or better.

Team rocket: missing machamp and the two trainer holos

Neo Rev: missing misdreavus delibird and crobat

Both Gym Sets: need Lt. Surge holo and Koga’s Beedrill.

Definately doable since I grabbed all the most expensive cards early in the process. We’ll see if I can get it done. Depends how I do on sales.

Been sleeping and skipping cards with fanciful artworks during this
SV era. Hope the artists will create some cards with sublime and timeless artworks for me to collect as my wallet has rested enough.

Somewhere to track my progress for the year and hold myself accountable to some goals.

The cards I’d like to have added to my collection by the time 2025 rolls around. All cards are Japanese as I’m not a baller and for some reason prefer the Japanese versions as they feel like the OGs.
