No one in this thread was deviating from market trends that relate to the unlimited base set booster box.
A little bit of movement last night:
A base box accepted with a best offer of 35k
And a fellow efour member sold this green wings (price 70k however most likely a best offer accepted but doesnt show)

PWCC auction ended just over £27,000 ($35,000) and I personally know of another deal in the last week for £27,000 as well.
Seems like these new prices have definitely fished some out onto eBay, this could settle the price for a brief period.
I personally thought that was low for a PWCC mint box, at least it looked mint.
We have to keep a more long sighted view… in January it was a £3,000 box.

Yeah, this is surprising. The charizard has gained a ton of ground on the box lately. I expect the price pendulum to swing back to the box now.
That was mine and the ‘buyer’ never paid in the end.

Looks like the price on these have plateau’d a bit. Mint one sold for 28k on eBay today. I know of another private sale for around the same price.
Much needed to cool off a bit. The run up from a month ago was absolutely insane. Personally think a retrace isn’t / shouldn’t be surprising.
Especially not surprising given that the cards themselves have retraced as much as ~40%. The increase in the value of the box was in large part due to the spike in card value. So it wouldn’t be remotely surprising to see Base boxes retrace back to $20k, which would still put it at double what it was 5-6 months ago lol.
One sold for 25k recently. I think the peak was 40k?
Theres a couple at auction currently at 31k and 28k.
Question remains if supply or demand will win. Im leaning towards supply.
For disclosure i have skin in base boxes.
Not sure there will be a massive correction purely due to the Zard.
I think the only way is up for the psa 10 1st Charizard and when we hear of the next record sale, the unlimited psa 10 will just continue to rise in my opinion. The box will naturally follow suit.
