170 card order and these were my 10’s. A 43% success rate. My best 10 percentage yet with the wotc and ex series holos. Got some good ones and 7 new pop 1’s. These will almost all be for trade at some point, as I only (mostly) keep 9’s for my collection and 10’s fund my collecting goals.

Can’t afford to and just plain don’t get the hype. I don’t know how some of you do it. My eyes aren’t that great anyways and most of my 9’s are identical to 10’s in my own eyes.

The good thing is there is no limit on when you can grade OR when you can crack:)

My last order was 197/277 PSA 10 which is around 70% 10! Pretty amazing with a mix of Yugioh/Pokemon and Japanese/English :blush:

Just got these grades back. 1st edition base set #17-102. The whole set except the holos

6 Graded Gem Mint 10. 56 graded Mint 9, which is incredible to me. A good bit graded 8. A small mix of 7’s and 6’s and a single 5.

I’m extremely satisfied. Can’t beat these grades for 250 bucks.

Wow…nice Tony. This original set is not easy to get 10s on. Congrats…

Thanks Gary. Anyone have any idea what a set like this is worth? I’m not sure if I should sell them or hold onto them

You have a full non holo set? Can only see 30+ of the cards so must estimate based on full 86 card set.
I’d say around 2000-2200usd but that could change a little based on the cards we can’t see.

Grades are in!!

For the most part, I’m very ecstatic about these grades :grin:

And these are literally the grades I expected lol no joke, to a T.

Zapdos/Tyranitar: Knew these would be 10s, Both were immaculate, and centering was perfect.

Rayquaza: Was 50/50, Card overall looked amazing but I wasn’t sure if it was a 9 or 10

Kangaskhan: Well after hearing it was previously graded a 9 :relieved: (which I wasn’t informed by the seller during the transaction) I was pretty sure it would grade a 9 again.

Overall very happy though :blush:

How many shining tyranitar cards are graded 10 in Japanese now after that one? Really nice sub overall congrats!

And now I’m just after Raichu and I’ll have a complete set :grin:

Yea the raichu is gonna be an absurd bitch for you to get I imagine, glad I’m settling for a 9 set of these haha.

Which shining is the highest pop? I just switched phone so I don’t have the app yet to look myself :slightly_frowning_face:

It’s actually a 3 way tie for the highest POP lol

Charizard, Kabutops and Tyranitar all have a POP of 7!
