Got some cards regraded in this sub which in the end probably wasn’t financially worth it but I was a bit tilted at the time. It is a bit amusing that the eeveelutions jumped from PSA 5 to PSA 10, the Flareon V did deserve the PSA 5 though, it had some pretty bad bends on both sides which another user on here mentioned can happen with these eeveelution promos.

Getting a 10 on 5 out of 6 of those Eeveelution promos is pretty impressive tbh. I must’ve gotten 3 boxes of each and only hit the 10 on both Vaporeons and the Flareon VMAX.

Got the grades for my first submission to CGC.
Very happy with the grades ! I decided to send my all-time favourite card, Umbreon 025/P which I bought raw on Mercari.
Also sent 3 very rare unlimited WCP cards. So happy with this Torchic !

Only one below a 9.5 that’s a great sub. Getting the 10 grade is extra super thrilling when you grade yourself Happy for you.

And I knew Mawile would not get more than 9 because it has a very small indent on the back and I wanted to know how CGC would grade that !
A few returns from a small submission. The aftermath of me foolishly opening shadowless base theme decks lol.
They left me one Wartortle away from shadowless 10s of all the starter pre-evos

Had rather been hoping for pairs of 10s, but these duos both have cool artworks from the same artist. The Plusle and Minun you can see the other in each’s art, which is neat.

Little back story, submitted Blastoise, Charizard, and Venusaur to PSA in hopes of getting a PSA 9 sequential set for my PC. Blastoise and Venusaur came back a 9, and Charizard an 8. A bit surprised and disappointed the Charizard got an 8, as it looks very clean.
After talking to someone with good grading knowledge, we decided to send it back for review as I want to keep the cert number and he strongly believes it should be a 9. But came back at 8 again, so we decided to send it to BGS.
Got my BGS Charizard back yesterday.
Got a 9.5 on Surface which I was extremely happy about. Maybe the 8.5 edges was what cause PSA to give it an 8?

Can you maybe take pictures of what you believe are the edge flaws? Would be nice to see as it helps understand the grading of both companies better.

This might be the edge that had the issue.
On the right middle. Thb, I don’t remember that being there when I submitted a long time ago but I wasn’t as careful with the edges either.
Does PSA grade harder on edge as well? I know they are they most strict on surfaces.

From time to time PSA will allow a 9 with this edge flaw. But wotc charizard may make them look closer. Also CGC would grade edges harshly. I think you have a good outcome with this bgs 9 and two 9.5 subgrades.
