The Giant eBay Garbage Thread

I also just got a generous offer on a card, look inside and the account was made today.

Someone is going to town tonight

If I could count the number of times low-ballers saved me fron selling cards I’d never get again… :thinking: :rocket:

Just a PSA, there are a few different versions of what appear to be fake uncut wrappers that popped up. Multiple sellers have them listed.

Nah. You just have to know what to look for. It takes a bit of research and training but there are always signs you can easily spot. I don’t foresee them going away for a long time if ever due to all the various anti-counterfeiting measures they intentionally or unintentionally utilized in production.

the current buyer pool is not going to do any research I can guarentee that

:joy::joy::joy::joy:

Current new buyer dilemna:
Buy sealed? But I can’t judge anything about the seal…
Buy recent grades? But it could be cleaned…
Buy 1st Ed? But I don’t know stamps…

what a strange interaction

Not sure why they always need to rub it in your face. If anything a thank you is probably needed for the suggestion you gave

Funny how he seemingly cared about a supposed ā€œPrint Lineā€ over the fact that its a destroyed PSA 4.

Let me repeat it for the people in the back.

Part of negotiations… IS ACTUALLY NEGOTIATING!

If you want to have something at a lower price point there’s nothing wrong with that, but you need to actually put in effort instead of asking the seller to negotiate against themselves. You aren’t going to insult them by asking a lower price. You will, however, annoy them by insisting they lower their own asking pricing.

Edit: Also, as a side note, if potential grading is your reasoning to try and undercut the price (especially substantially), I have no interest in dealing with that either. You are buying the card in its condition, not the possibility of a specific grade/number. That is a headache/complaint in the waiting…
