ebay garbage and CGC garbage! A double whammy!
Considering a Garchomp LV.X PSA-10 (pop 7) had a value of ~5-7.5k in January and now has two sold listings of 900k and 800k respectively, you should be asking at least 100k, just to proof a point.

Ask for 300 Sovereign coins, they had face value of 1£ in 1817 so seems fair enough ![]()
ebay user, he has 2 accounts block em both: “jonaboru-0,itsjahboi” already added a comma for you.
I want y’all’s opinion. Is the following message too aggressive? Threatening? This is after 2 months of occasional BS with this guy:
Keep the card you destroyed. You could have sold it, but no… Over the 2 months of harassing me you’ve given me your name, address, and contact information, which I will take to the police if you continue. Ebay is continuing to keep records on any future transactions, and I will update them as well. Please don’t contact me again.
edit: Took out the part about police.
edit: Decided not to bother at all with this guy. Hence why I put the hot letter aside before sending it. Thanks for letting me vent, E4.
I have not messaged him during all this, and I don’t want to threaten the guy, but I want to be clear that I’m not playing.
He’s been harassing me for 2 months over something that is all his fault.
Lincoln used to write hot letters, and stick them in a drawer till he cooled off. This is my version.

For background: He
- cancelled my purchase of Natta Wake, then
- Sent me harassing messages, (yes, he taunted me) so I left him negative feedback.
- Opened a new account to buy a card to harass me with revenge feedback
- Now has defaced that card and is trying to return it.
- All that’s left is for him to mail som’t to my PO Box… Which is a felony.
- This person is 34 years old.

The uniform cut marks are obviously intentional…
Geeze! What a loser. He is also a used car salesman. (yeah, Accidentally gave me his work phone number.) I hate stereotypes, but THAT is too perfect.

Lessons learned (for future advice):
- Providing a refund does NOT hurt my seller rating.
- I can accept a return then deny on grounds it was damaged by buyer (just document well).
- You gotta generate return labels yourself for returns if shipped via ebay Standard Env.
- I can cancel orders if a user opens a new account to buy and scam you, but they might leave negative feedback (again, document well. and pre-empt with and ebay abuse report.)
- Save names, addresses you ship to, so you can cross-ref problem buyers.
Someone to block if you sell graded cards or really anything on eBay: hk-ten
Bought a PSA 9 graded card and then proceeded to complain that the card wasn’t perfect and that this was somehow my fault. Interestingly enough, what they’re complaining about isn’t even a flaw on the card but a slab defect.
a graded card is a “blind certificate” thats the entire point of grading ![]()
Sometimes I belive that I am actually talking to some 6 year old that got ahold of his fathers credit card…
Maybe the ebay action cancel excuses are true…
“Hmm… how should I be handling my card while taking pictures? I don’t want to ruin the condition. Oh, I know, I’ll use some f’in teethed tweezers to properly grip the card!” Only on Mercari JP.
I don’t get some people, trying to sell it for double what last sales of known grading companies go for, even though it didn’t work the last 5 times.
Edit: The last sold 10’s for context
New hobbyists finding out PSA’s harsher grading is still not a guarantee…
How could you do something so cruel ![]()
