The Giant Deal Thread

@funmonkey54 Agreed, awesome products. Prices have certainly sky-rocketed lately, I remember Jungle versions sold year ago for $200+, including the one I bought.

Definitely have gone up. Especially the red logos. When I sold my first one, no one talked about them. They weren’t on the map at all. Then within a few months they were popping up from all around for high prices.

I sold mine for $145 two or three years ago, along with a Red Logo Fossil for a similar price. :\

That feel when I paid 90 AUD for a Red Logo Fossil Box(less than retail for a new set box) opened it, and a year later the sealed box was going for 300.

Such a gorgeous set! I only have 11 out of it. Most these days are in played condition lol

There’s been so many lately I can’t keep up  plus I’m broke [dying mario sound]

@soulwind

Are you sure you mean Fossil?

I will pay $750 right here and now for a Red Logo Fossil box.

They are impossible to find.

Could be interesting for some of you.

Those teach cards…

The SSB isnt as sought after as the TMB imo. They have the same rarity but from what iv seen the TMB isnt seen as much as the SSB’s. Plus the artowrk of the TMB is better than the SSB.

I think the more objective answer is the weird starting prices. I think these would of both done better if they started at $0.99 as that would of invited a bid war.

Also, it looks like the ssb has whitening on the top right corner.

True the starting prices were a funny price to start off with but tbh their still would have been only one winner on the TMB .

The ssb still sold for over 3k? Holy crap? Surprised it sold so low? On what planet is that cheap? Man I must be oblivious to card prices.

I think the price played a major role. I thought about bidding, but didn’t prioritize it because of the price. A low starting price would if invited more bids. Conversely, if they put it up for a bin/mao auction and waited it would of probably earned more as well.

Learning so much about selling right now.

Didn’t you say earlier that you were surprised how low it ended?

Either way I didn’t bid because of the odd starting price. I would of bid more but didn’t bother. I’m sure others fell into the same boat.

AAckK?!! I’ve been sick and missed this…the SSB Mewtwo trainer card!! It ended at less then US $4,000??! Ughh I don’t have that kind of extra cash but to think it sold for that amount makes me… even sicker. And what is all this about Noriaki? I will have to check who sold and won the mewtwo… BUT HOPE maybe someday I can add it to my collection.

Does anyone have a picture of the SSB Mewtwo?
