Drew, that’s around Aussie $2.9k before fees and international shipping. If you get slugged customs duties, you’re looking at at least Aussie $3.2k in total.
Those 2 cards are most likely from 2 years ago when that collector sold his complete sets. The 3rd places ones went for like 100k iirc so qbx is definitely making alot of profit.
Just to set the record straight. I didn’t win the Trophy Khan because according to my middleman (Noriaki28), the seller ended the auction before he gets the chance to place my bid. But also according to him, the account that is showing with the highest bid on the Khan is not his account but his “friend’s” account. I don’t want to waste my time on something like this so if the middleman wants to keep the card, so be it.
That is frustrating. I have experienced a seller removing a bid, you can’t do anything on your end. Sorry you had to experience this type of situation.
I can confirm the account with the highest bid is Noriaki28. I don’t know how cancelled bids work on Y!J, though. I am surprised to hear she might be keeping the Khan for herself, she has always been very honest and fair to me as a customer. I wouldn’t worry. Like @bagoly14 said, it could be a blessing in disguise (especially with the new Trophy’s that just popped up IMO).
The auction was never cancelled. It’s very clear that my bid (through Noriaki) won that auction but for some reason, she made up some stories about the seller ending the auction at the last minute. She might have felt that she can sell the card later on for much more. Life goes on. I won’t lose a sleep over this but I will probably won’t use her middleman service again. I’m posting this in the forum so other members will exercise caution when using her as middleman.
I’ve never liked noriak prices. They always remember outrageous. So the fact that they would try to keep this for them self. Hope you find a better middleman
