I can’t believe someone with that much feedback would be that foolish.
I just got off the phone with ebay. They told me that if multiple people report the auction it will be removed quicker. So if you want to report it, it would be appreciated! 
I think that’s just a picture of the card. It may be best to report it for copywrite infringement or something.
I called Scott. They asked me if that was a picture taken of the card on auction then duped? I said I didn’t know. Is it?
Yes it is definitely the same. You can see the holo pattern is identical. The photo was zoomed and cropped to remove the psa case.
Threw in a report myself.

Well it seems everyone one is cashing in on the publicity of Scott’s illustrator auction.
That looks like smason’s old copy. The holo pattern, from what is visible, looks similar.
I know where Smason’s copy is and the guy who has it isn’t selling so I presume this is a undiscovered one.
JP-Jun usually sells high end cards for other people. Is there anyway you could contact the person who has the copy?
I contacted JP-Jun to get better photo’s of the front to compare the holo patterns. The part that looks identical, at least from the photo available is the top right.
Well the person who I know isn’t looking to sell as I spoke to him just last week and he told me his thinking of grading most of his collection including the illustrator.
He is pretty adamant to pass the collection on to his soon in the future so nothing he has is for sale. I got lucky with the TMB bird and kangaskhan as he had doubles that’s the only reason he sold those to me.
Plus he is from the USA I doubt he would ask someone in Japan to list it on ebay.
Did this guy buy it directly from smason?
It’s the same one on yahoo Japan. Same silver sleeve, same carpet and if you look closely the holo pattern seems to match along the ink streak and the feather on the ink well. The seller also states he is selling one behalf if a friend. Samson’s old on is more of center.
As far as I know yes because he told me he had a tough time buying it as mason received a higher offer when the deal was about to go through so he ended up pay a couple extra $k on top of his original deal to get the illustrator from him.
I think mike is right is you look at the centring of the silver border they bought are virtually the same. I doubt you can tell off the holo as the angle are different but the centring is very similar on both.
Hmm that is odd because smason told me he sold it to someone in japan. Which is why I assumed it was possibly smason’s since I thought it was still floating around there, and that top right corner looked similar in the photo provided.
And nice eye Mike! I couldn’t tell if the one from YJ! was the same since the picture on YJ! is butt.
If you look at the ink quill there is a holo orb that shows through the ink in the same place on both cards.
