Just compared this to the card itself and actually, the crop is different.
I imagined that the artwork on display was similar to the card arts posted by the JP Instagram account (I think) where they just remove all the text, but the actual Moonbreon card is missing art on all four sides.
The red roof is a single tile and there is no breathing room for either left or right tower. I’m actually perplexed as to why they cropped out so much.
I attempted to recreate the card using Pokécardmaker with the textless artwork and the difference doesn’t feel that significant thanks to border & text lol. TPCi washes out colours for their official images (not sure why)
Honestly, the text really does dampen the contrast and dynamic of the art. It looks a lot better here. Tho, I’ve never seen it in person…
I think it looks better here too (not black and white difference—but better). Maybe it’s the washed out colors that make the actual card look a little less nice.
