I’m starting to dig into cards from the EX era and I’m finding a lot of beauties. I’m not crazy about Arita’s art from the first few sets, but I really dig his efforts in this era.

A couple of my favorites! As well as my jank af job of splicing together the Jr. Rally promo artwork, if anyone has high quality scans of them I’d love to do a better job! Also I couldn’t figure out how the mewtwo/pikachu connected… Does anyone know if the full original artwork is available anywhere?

Very nice job at stitching that together. Those promo cards are really great and the art is certainly deserving of being here.

I’d also really like to see the full version of the artwork. As for the positioning of the mewtwo, I believe it’s to the left of the lugia. The little yellow wisp connects the two.

I just love the CD Promo artwork for Venusaur and Blastoise. It’s the art work that is used on the Gameboy game boxes aswell and just has so much nostalgia to it.

I agree, the Venusaur and Blastoise CD Promos have more nostalgic artwork than the Base Set ones for me. It might sound weird but these were featured everywhere more.
