True! I usually use a scanner. I find it gives me the best results!

I’m gonna need a huge scanner to fit the entire set in a single shot haha. I’m actually thinking about investing in a scanner for the singles or smaller groups.

Haha ya! Most scans of cards I’ve done or seen turn out absolutely beautiful and really showcase the unique holo features on a card. Definitely worth it in my opinion.

You collection is just godly, I’ve mentioned to you before but I have exactly the same goal with cards featuring shiny poker on and I’m so far behind you! The LP dogs are hard to even find let alone in mint. By the way once those dp shinings come back please pm me if you have any doubles in a 10

I feel like the LP dogs might be missing for a little while. I do have a set from the LEGEND Perfect set that might fair nicely at PSA, so we will see. The Shiny Gift ones, who knows when that’ll be complete.

I’ll definitely hit you up if I have doubles of the DP shinies. I actually have quite a few more being sent in too, and I’m feeling pretty good about most of them. I’ll keep you posted.

@woolsluk Nevermind, I actually just saw your old post from the first page of this thread. Good luck with both 1ed and UED! that’ll definitely be quite the challenge! I contemplated it once, but I think getting 10s for some of those UED, or just finding raw copies in general for some of those shinies will drive me mad. haha. I have a couple of UED gold stars in 10 and some of the other DP shinies I’m sending in are also UED.

I have a far few unlimited copies of gold stars which have a <10 pop count. The hardest unlimited cards to find might end up being the dp cards I think, though certain pcg sets are a nightmare when it comes to unlimited. Strange to think how people still love 1st ed for Japanese when mostly unlimited cards are more difficult to find, though sometimes not printed at all.

@woolsluk Yeah, definitely some of the UED sets are a lot rarer than the 1ed sets. Some of them getting a 10 in either 1ed or ued is just hard period like the Japanese Dragon Frontiers set. I also think some of the BW UR cards in UED are pretty uncommon. I definitely don’t see as many of those around. Are there even UED for the XY sets? For me, its just easier to collect the 1ed so I don’t obsessive search the earth for both sets. haha

Earlier this past summer, I completed one of my collection goals in full. I present to you guys the complete PSA10 Japanese Gold Star 1st Edition set.

In addition to this set, I also recently completed my PSA 10 Japanese Shining set (Promos included) thanks to various people.

Now I can focus on the LP shiny gift promos which I’m more than half way complete with these 6 that I got in a PSA return last month

but in addition to these, I’ll be sending off these 3, which I’m hoping will recieve 10s.

I’m also 50% complete with the shiny cards from DPt series.

And also sending in these which hopefully can complete my set. The Milotic might not grade a 10, so I’ll be looking for more of them in the mean time. If anyone can point me in the direction, I’d greatly appreciate it

Lastly, these are some returns I got last month too. I’m pretty excited about the Charizard and the Mewtwo. I’m just stoked 3 out of 4 Shining Mewtwo I’ve sent in recieved 10. Not sure whats up with the Steelix though, visibly can’t see anything wrong with it so I’ll prob submit it for review later.

Now that I’m almost done clearing the major, harder to find shiny Pokemon cards, I can focus on some of the more common ones like the BW UR cards, BW promos, XY promos, and XY SR/RR cards. The hardest promos in PSA 10 actually might be LP legendary dogs that came in the HG/SS LEGEND Perfect set since those promos tend to have the indentations on the corners where they were being held in place. I also will start piecing together my Japanese PSA 10 Mewtwo/Mew collection on the side.
