looks like SARs will have the HR glitter layer that we saw on rainbows/gold cards
i assume this will also be present on the gold cards

Damn the glitter looks so good on the SARs. I’m excited for this set and future releases. Looks like SV may potentially top SS era.

These sets may be the strongest base sets period. Insane how strong this era is right away. My wallet is getting deleted friday.

These are incredible. Thank god the HRs are dead, I hope this means special arts are easier to pull and by extension cheaper. That SAR Great Tusk looks beautiful! What a way to bring back the ex cards!

I’d love to get a refresher on past base debuts – but I am doing my best to contain the excitement here. Beautiful cards and definitely raises the bar for this era.
Same here, I’m curious how past japanese base debuts have translated over to english sets. I cant help but feel like the english counterpart is going to get broken up a bunch rather than contain all of the great stuff we’re seeing in this thread.
