Well the Pokemon scarlet and violet tcg era has ended. And it was definitely an era of all time. Feels like just yesterday I was avoiding SV base like the plague…

Glad to see Obsidian and Shrouded exactly where they belong 
SV didn’t do too much for me. I enjoyed the latter half of the era much more (ironically when we started getting away from SV Pokemon). A lot of sets are good but not great. The tera mechanic, especially on full arts, does not interest me.
Very excited for the Mega era though!
I know Shrouded Fable is going to unanimously get dunked on but the holos alone help relieve some scrutiny imo

For the record (and for future generations of pro Pokemon investors)
The only sealed S&V set I have boxes of is Destined Rivals because I think it’s got a great set list.
Just off gut reaction.
Quick point:
Absolutely disgusted my dude Lokix has not gotten the Art it deserved. Just needed to get that out there. S&V era gets a D until justice is served.
Took a while for this era to get going but ended off with a bang! Unfortunately, a lot of sets suffered from card bloat, lack of thematic cohesion or over-saturation of full arts - making nothing really seem special. Stronger than SwSh in some respects, but weaker in others.
I didn’t bother putting anything in S tier since I’m ranking these against the entire TCG and nothing was quite worthy of that (but Black Bolt & White Flare are still excellent sets).
