The direction of regular ex cards is looking very nice! The appreciation for regular ultra rares might be different if they did more variable artists with them instead of just 5ban

It looks horrible. I know Scarlet and Violet has just started, but thus far, with the exception of 151, it canāt compare to Sword and Shield art quality. I just canāt get behind terastallization yet.

Iād argue that everything so far in SV is leagues better than basically just the normal VMAXs and rainbows that were in the equivalent early SwSH sets.

The first few sets of SwSh has absolutely awful art. It was just the normal full arts/rainbows/golds
If this was just a normal non-tera form Charizard card I think I wouldāve absolutely loved itā¦ I Still kinda like this one though, just not a lot
Iāll take tera full arts over V, Vstar, and Vmax any day. For special arts, its still unclear how other tera alt arts (if thats what this is) will look like moving forward. Zard is the āfirstā and only one atm

I think all tera Pokemon cards are destined to look mostly like garbage. Itās not aesthetic.
That said, props to Akira Egawa for trying. This is probably as good as it gets, even with the over the top gaudy crystals around the sides. One of the best artists currently IMHO.

I think itās better suited for cute non-combative looking PokĆ©mon like Pikachu and Dedenne. Hopefully we get to see better examples in the upcoming sets (especially High Class Pack?: Shiny Treasure)

Okay the art is cracked. The use of color to make the shiny crystal appearance is so good
These Tera cards are so contentious 
I do feel like there may have been more potential for cool SAR art of the vmax pokemon than the tera ones. But weāre early into the gen for the TCG so Iām open minded and excited to see what the artists come up with for tera SARs.
