No verification code for me. (UK dweller)
Why can’t they ever make anything that works?! Its almost like Pokémon do it on purpose to drive demand. Other smaller franchises can organise events easily.
Edit - it appears a large majority are showing the slots are unavailable now. Someone must be booking the slots.

The system was bad, didn’t a verification code at all. Should have had the option to send to an email address.

Do you know if there will be any restrictions on how much you can spend or how many of each item you can buy per visit?
I don’t think anyone has posted here and it might be common knowledge already but just to warn people that there will be strikes on the rail network, underground, overground and buses between the Thursday to the Sunday so will be major travel disruption. Hopefully people avoid the worst of it if arriving early and leaving late Sunday. Expect Uber and taxis to be booked up as well to compensate.

Of course the strike happens on the day I have to switch from my airbnb to hotel. Might have to do the 2.5hr walk

Yep, got a spot at the same time on two separated days. 
Yeah, I’m worried about transportation as well. First the flight to London, which is currently a mess at Schiphol airport in The Netherlands. I’ve heard people are at the airport 4 hours early, and still miss their flight sometimes due to long queues… Luckily I will only bring hand baggage; can check in at home, so only have to go through security; and will be flying with British airways instead of KLM, so hopefully it won’t be too bad. Having said that, two of my flights has been cancelled and rebooked already.
And then when I do arrive at the airport in London, I’d likely have to walk to the hotel indeed, haha. Although hopefully they’ve arranged busses. In The Netherlands the train personal sometimes have strikes as well, or some trains or tracks are simply broken, in which case busses are arranged to still travel between stations. Not sure if they also do the same in London, though. Ah well, I should be arriving in London at about 16:30 (unless it’s cancelled & rebooked yet again), and have until midnight to check in at the hotel, so should be fine even if I have to walk.
