Rail replacement buses can take you between stations, but they will likely be affected by strikes. All buses are free within a 1m radius of Heathrow to get people to their hotels

So I’ll be @ the pop up pokemon center for the 1200 entry on Wednesday. Has there been any further details on the exclusive stuff? I know they’ll have plushies and dice boxes. Any exclusive promo cards?
They’ve never done special promos at the shop for worlds afaik. This is a pretty unprecedented world’s though, so who knows? Expect a special Pikachu plush + maybe a couple others they are using for mascots (Sinistea, three starters, maybe a yamper, etc). There seems to be two dice boxes. There should be exclusive playmats and maybe sleeves.
Typically the store is filled with just normal pokemon center products. Lots of plush. Lots of retail card box sets or theme decks. Clothing, lanyards, mugs, etc

Does anyone know if there will be any illustrators signing cards? Is that a typical thing to happen at worlds?
There usually is but if it will be anything like the last two worlds, access will be extremely limited

I’m not sure what to expect since it’ll be my first time going to any Pokemon related event.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what items to bring along to the event aside from the usual water, hand sanitizer and trade binder?

I brought some sleeves + semi rigids, few cards to sign, sharpie and a binder for showing. Honestly I think less is more. There’s a fantasy of being able to do like trades and stuff - it could (and has) happened but the amount of inventory you have carry around is just not worth it imo

Dunno if its allowed, but some sort of bag/backpack to help lug around everything.

Backpacks are pretty common. I always went with the stuff your pockets method.
Also if you get anything at the Pokémon center you can use those bags. I remember doing that a few times.

I’m in queue for the Pokémon Centre. It’s running behind schedule, and is PACKED. So many people here!
If anyone else is around I can maybe say hi, but finding people now is going to be hard. Oh well hope everyone is having fun!
