These will be the final starters. This was leaked awhile ago and received some indirect confirmation once Mallow was revealed but there’s no disputing this now that the evolutions have been revealed.

They are fake.
Confirmation of that?
The picture was posted very early on and everyone thought they were fake. Then they revealed trial captains and Mallow, who is depicted pretty clearly in Litten’s final evo’s picture. It gave it credence but not straight confirmation.
You can’t look at Popplio’s evolution and say that these are fake now. It all fits too well. I’m convinced these are real now.

The only one that looks close to the 1st stage at all is the Water starter. I am going to keep my money on them being fake because this is 2016 and it’s very easy to start rumours and have them become belief. It’s all vague resemblances.
I will be more than happy to be proven wrong, mind you.

I always liked Grimer, thought it was vastly underappreciated. I like it more because I think the Muk will look good based off the simple changes of the Grimer.

When Type: Null finds a trainer it trusts, it destroys its helmet and evolves into Silvadi. It has a special item called Memory that lets it be one of all 18 types at any one time. It’s not currently known if it’s one item that can change this, or if there are 18 different ones. It has a new attack called Multi Attack which changes type based on its hold item

Just saw this, looks like corocoro page doesn’t have right info.
That’s a really odd error to make.
It’s just a colour problem, the text is correct as it correctly says “Dragon” (should be purple text) and “Fighting”.

I gotta say that most of these look better animated and in 3D than they do in concept art… I recall Gen 6 having a similar issue now that I think about it. How come that wasn’t the case for older generations I wonder?
