This is more of a collector’s item for the older audience. But a unique chance to play Red & Blue version with the modern twist for comfort for the younger audience. I’ll be quite honest though, I would play this at regular speed. Emulator fast forward options give me the quickest headaches. Bumping into shit and all the squeaky speedy sounds. Plus its almost as if one does not really want to play if sped up…
Anyone planning on playing the games when they release?
I am going to try and do both blue and yellow.
Is yellow the only one in color?
I believe so. Never was a fan of pikachu vs Brock tho. Might try a solo Run in Blue

Digital download for the 3DS is only $13 [AUD], which is much cheaper than I expected!

Gotta get on that mudslap
So an update on the whole virtual console Red/Blue/Yellow thing being compatible with Pokebank… turns out you’ll only be able to move them up to Pokemon Sun/Moon; moving up to X/Y/OR/AS “directly” isn’t going to be possible.

I apologize if someone already asked this but, do the rereleases still have the glitches like Missingno and the Mew glitch?

I have 5 Pokemon so far, one of them is Mew.
Playing these games is probably the most relaxing thing I could ever do.

I’m super excited!!
Pro tip:
If you don’t like playing it in Black and white, you can hold down the back triggers and Y to make it green like on the original gameboy.
Extra pro-tip: hold down START and SELECT when you fire the game up to have it playable on a Gameboy screen, in 3D.
Game-changer. Literally.
