I got mine yesterday after seeing this post. Bought it on my phone as on my computer it said they were sold out, glad I did.
The problem is I probably want all the others that they might/will release, aaah the addicition!
I hope they become worthless and the scalpers get burned.

The others wont be limited as far as i know, so at least theres that aspect

Wonder if the seal will need to be broken to check the ball number, though.

I don’t necessarily know if this is a fomo scalped item. limited to one per person purchase, and I know a lot of collectors who just bought it for themselves. Seems like a very nice 25th anniversary item to display.

120$ is not a lot for a really nice display piece when people pay 500$ for a big boobed anime figure

Out of the many people I’ve met in this hobby, maybe 1 or 2 are avid Pokemon pin collectors including myself. This one just doesn’t have that “Wow” factor for me.

I totally get that, the box itself isn’t very exciting on this one. I do think there’s just a general rush for people to pick up new product right now though. Another example is on the Japanese Pokémon Center website they announced a new set of Poké Doll plush toys and one of them is Pikachu - that’s sold out in about 6 hours even though there are almost identical Poké Doll Pikachu plushes in good as new condition with tags in tact from before 2005 which are available for less than those on eBay.

I feel like anyone who has bought into these products as some way of making money (which I can only assume to be the majority based on how quickly they sold out) is going to be sorely disappointed.

I personally really like the product myself. I pre-ordered one off the website, and ordered a second for $300 the same day. It looks like they’re already selling for $500 on eBay. There’s definitely collectors fomo, but there’s a ton of genuine interest in these, and something I’m absolutely keeping at my work desk.

I’m tempted to sell at these prices. Was never my intention but you can get a nice graded WOTC holo for how much they’re going for.

The prices are getting a little bit crazy. Went from $120 at launch to $250 on eBay the same day, now they’re at $500.
I wonder how many people are selling their eBay preorders of someone else’s Pokémon Center preorders…

I got blocked just looking at it and some of the other new releases earlier. They need to get their shit together on that site lol.

I did end up successfully buying one on my mobile though. Easy to trade a psa 9 jungle 1st eevee for it. I’m a sucker when there are “firm” production numbers posted on items.

I found pending charges on my card, emailed their support and they replied with a order number. Guess I somehow got one now?

However I found like x2 USD5 charges on the card, I haven’t really ordered from the site before and I assume it’s a pre-authorization charge.

But, I also tried purchasing with different cards cause it wouldn’t go through, so now I’m not sure if I’m gonna get hit with multiple charges… anyone here able to clarify on this?

As long as you get an email, you should be fine!

They won’t double charge you for one item…they’ll just refund you and charge whatever’s on your order confirmation.

If you get 2 emails with different order numbers…now that’s a different story it means you’ve ordered it twice!

I think they’re not supposed to ship for a couple of weeks. The non-master ball, I ordered back in november I think, was supposed to start shipping last Saturday. I haven’t seen anything yet.
