I didn’t say that I don’t appreciate the art on lower value cards. There are plenty of lower value cards that I own and love. I personally don’t like most of the newer cards, but there are certain newer cards with unique arts I collect… ESPECIALLY if they are “rare” as it gives the collector in me something to chase. I think that it is always a good thing to continue providing some exclusivity in any hobby.

So if Google Translate didn’t fail me, this set is gonna be released one card after another between October 27th 2018 and approx. January 20th 2019, starting with Mimikyu. Price would be 450 Yen and you can get them 1 piece per person at Japanese Pokecenters (and maybe Pokecenter-online?).
Is this somewhat correct or did I totally screw it up? :grin:

What do you think is the fastest and cheapest way to obtain them as a casual collector in Europe?

I believe there will be japanese sellers with pre orders available for the set except Pikachu on eBay, in some days. Probably that is the best way to go and then get Pikachu

Why would they be hyper rare? I assume they’re going to be non-textured star holos.

These are beautiful. I can’t wait to collect the set and am drooling at the thought of pairing Pokemon with other iconic artworks

Whew two days ago after that GX Ultra Shiny announcement I was so ready to quit, now they pull these out on me. I love them. Psyduck, Rowlet and Mimikyu are all competing for best rendition.
