Nah, maybe PSA 10 Shadowless, but this offer is certainly reasonable

Not really… People will overpay for 10s but 9s have remained in the $1700-2500 range mostly.

After the PWCC auction is over in *3 days, the winning price will be the new benchmark price for a psa9 1st ed base charizard. Currently it is already at $2700 with *3 more days to go. I am afraid the $2000 price tag is a price we can only hope to pay to get that card.

EDIT : *3 more days instead of 4

I feelthat the new “base” price for the PSA 9 will be 3.2k now and will only increase.

eh, one auction does not make a price. the card will go up, but the offer isn’t unreasonable at all. In the past week more than one has sold at under 2500$.

make sure you stay grounded when you are thinking about pricing nowadays. it’s easy to think it’s off to the heavens and above for all of us, but be careful about it >___>

I hope it never stops going up since I have one ;p

It’s also sold for $3000 recently as well. I’d say easily $2500-$3000 now. And considering the one currently being auctioned is a PWCC auction and not just a regular joe auction, that in fact this one auction will determine the fair market value for this card. Being the most publicized and well known trading card auctioner, I think it’s fair to say that one auction from them can determine the fair price of a card, or at least just give us a very solid range of it.

Very possible. I think I’d better raise my 9.5 9.5 9 9 BGS one. I put it at 3200.00 before these started going over 2200.00.

in that situation, and with those subgrades yes I would say the card warrants more with the attention they have. (I still don’t own a bgs card, but I kind of want one. I’m just afraid I’ll end up like synd)

Considering you don’t have a preference in PSA grades, unless you have a lust for the colors gold and silver you won’t end up like @pokemonsyndicate.

@pokemonsyndicate Actually come to think of it as such a fan of BGS I don’t think I have ever seen one in your collection lol :stuck_out_tongue:

Dare you guys to break open your 9s and send them in to get 10a

Considering the fact I’ve seen at least one of the pwcc auctions going for more than a BIN of the same card I don’t see how one sale could be a benchmark for a new price. I would say 2.5-3k is a fair range currently.

You don’t want to end up like that boy lol.
