I’m currently reading the Pokemon Adventures manga, starting at the very beginning.
Just finished the arc where Red & Blue beat Surge & Koga, and got inspired to do this one.

It’s been a prolific week haha, today I painted Blastoise based on a few requests I got
I hope you like this one! (and the dirty palette I never clean!).
I plan on trying something a little different for the next few paintings.
Will try letting watercolor do its thing, and go for a more traditional look rather than illustrative.

Today I got some Deoxys action for you!
Very proud of this one, as I had to invent the pose myself, which required actually STUDYING the the pokemon

@liron , now I have a family! I purposefully wanted a lighter, less mature color. This was my second watercolor after picking up the brush (once again, I thank you for inspiring me to dig them out!)–the first one I worked on I decided beforehand to make it my Secret Santa child’s “drawing” gift. So I’ll have to link that once they post their gifts in the SS picture thread. We’ll keep a lookout. I am still on the lookout for a nice, wooden secondhand frame for your Slowbro! Hope you’re doing well mate! I’ll have a request for you soon

Hi all!
First wanted to wish you happy holidays, and a happy new year.
After 2020, here’s to 2021 going easier on us 
For the first time ever, we actually went ahead and got a small Christmas tree & decorated (we’re Jewish haha, but wanted to feel the Christmas spirit too for a change).
And also, wanted to share with you this Scizor I just finished!
One big thing I wanted to try, was injecting more of MY PERSONAL watercolor style, rather than just try painting the Pokemon as is.
And I think it worked really well here.
I let the colors blend a little more, and painted a little looser of a first layer.
I hope you like it.

Just painted one of my favorites so far - Kingler beating the crap out of Ditto, from the 1997 Carddass set 
I just love how Ditto gets beaten in so many of these.
I plan on doing the Kadabra-Poliwag soon too.
