Hello guys and a tie in final means I gotta go with stats.. Sorry for all those who wanted kabutops to win (including me ). Aerodacyl has been stat wise a better pokemon compared to kabutops. As it’s a tie in the finale for the desgn vote it’s down to stat comparison. If anyone new to this voting I did this even in water base for final when there is a tie.
If we get a tie in a non-final poll i would keep an exclusive tie breaker. But a tie in finale polls unfortunately result in stat & move comparison decisions..
Good idea! And although @Littu mentioned (s)he’ll do it for future polls, I got curious. And thus:
For the Water Starter polls, which ended in a 50-50 tie for Squirtle and Totodile, where Totodile won by moveset. The elimination counts of previous polls were:
Squirtle: 66 = 0 (in -1 poll) + 0 (in -2) + 1 (in -3) + 1 (in -4) + 2 (in -5) + 11 (in -6) + 19 (in -7) + 32 (in finale)
Totodile: 62 = 0 (in -1 poll) + 0 (in -2) + 1 (in -3) + 0 (in -4) + 0 (in -5) + 12 (in -6) + 17 (in -7) + 32 (in finale)
So Totodile being the winner is still correct, even if the total elimination-count across the eight polls isn’t too far from one another either, with just a difference of 4.
As for the 50-50 of Kabutops vs Aerodactyl, which Aerodactyl won by movesets, the elimination counts were:
Kabutops: 53 = 0 (in -1 poll) + 0 (in -2) + 0 (in -3) + 0 (in -4) + 0 (in -5) + 2 (in -6) + 1 (in -7) + 1 (in -8) + 2 (in -9) + 1 (in -10) + 1 (in -11) + 4 (in -12) + 9 (in -13) + 31 (in finale)
Aerodactyl: 71 = 1 (in -1 poll) + 0 (in -2) + 1 (in -3) + 0 (in -4) + 0 (in -5) + 0 (in -6) + 0 (in -7) + 0 (in -8) + 1 (in -9) + 3 (in -10) + 11 (in -11) + 7 (in -12) + 16 (in -13) + 31 (in finale)
So Kabutops should be the winner here, with a difference of 18 elimination votes across the fourteen polls.
