Hello guys and we are down to the final form birbs poll. I am definitely sure we are going to get a winner from a later half gen for the first time in the polls history. Don’t bottle my hopes 
. Anyway we have few really really solid designs here but. Selecting a top 3 from them is literally tough. Let’s see which one takes the first blow..
Two forms is not going to save unfezant from being the worse regional birb
Sad, I think they’re quite cute. With so many over-designed Pokemon out there these days, just looking like a regular animal isn’t a bad thing.

I just want to go on the record beforehand that I love all these birbs and don’t want to vote any of them out, nevertheless, what must be done must be done.
Wattrel may have sucked in basics but it got a massive upgrade for these fights, Kilowattrel shouldn’t have problems taking down couple opponents from earlier generations.
One thing about the early mon is that they tend to be really clean. Look at abra: Simple, confusing species, yes, but simple design. Even blastoise, with canons on its back, had a simple design.
Part of this was the limitations of a 16-bit OS, but regardless, it made them more easily processed. Now, kilawatrel, for example is really clean and I like it a lot, as a gen wunner and tooer. Honestly, talonflame is the only one I really dislike from these… maybe staraptor. In general, birds are easy to make simply and clearly, but still unique. Electric rodents, tho… or amphibious water-dwellers… Prehistoric re-animated rocks? Very different proposal.

Like the previous battles; the default art doesn’t do justice to most of these Pokémon. Pidgeot, Talonflame and Kilowattrel having a dynamic, in flight art while all others are just birds that been to the taxidermy office.
There are wrong choices

This will be one tough vote after the first round or two, I think.
Unfezant is the easy choice this time. However, I was also tempted to vote out Toucannon because I think the design is just poor - hardly much different from a real world Toucan. Not much going on there. And I say that as somebody who really likes Toucans.
And yet, noctowl and killawatrel are clearly the best 2… (IDK even what that last one is or how to spell it, but it’s a clear top tier design.)
