Best water base form starter decided

Hello guys, and you people are born to bring me headache. You actually made the season’s first tie and that one in a finale . Seriously if it’s any other day i could have kept an exclusive poll but it’s finale so how can I? Then i decided to look into base stats and move pool. The base stat total is same and i can’t take some stat into consideration. So i went for move pool (without TMs) and below are both

So as design both are honestly equals so just to break this tie i went for their power levels. I am sorry squirtle fans but totodile possesed better range of moves as it progresses. So totodile takes the win here. But both are greatest performers to make a tie. Kudos to both of them.

Could have been just a shared 1st place with Mudkip 3rd tbh, happens with sports in very rare occasions as well.

Although I like Pompon and Browt more than Gecqua, all three new starters are pretty good. I’d likely rank Gecqua between Sobble and Froakie in my order above.

Just another generation where water type starter is best choice.

I’d place it between Froakie and Oshawott, the comments in Winds & Waves thread about possible Water/Poison typing and Komodo dragon resemblance for next evolutions have gotten me really excited, even better if the hidden ability causes non-curable poison status from contact moves.
